Tranquil Mountain Getaway - Breathtaking Scenery right next to Nakasendo Trail

Tranquil Mountain Getaway exceeded all our expectations! The house is beautiful and can comfortably accommodate four people. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped, and the bathroom is amazing, with excellent water pressure and temperature. The whole house was spotless clean. Our only regret is that we stayed for just one night while hiking the Nakasendo Trail. We would have loved to stay longer and explore more of Nagiso and the surrounding area. We will definitely plan a longer visit next time! Communication with Anju was excellent. All the information was shared in a timely manner, and the check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. We also arranged to have our suitcase delivered from Magome-Juku, and it was received without any issues. If you plan to use a luggage delivery service, just make sure to inform the host in advance, as they may not always be at the property. Our stay was exceptional, and this was definitely one of the highlights of our entire trip to Japan. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in the Japanese countryside!

Everything was perfect. There is nothing to be noted.

Atmosfera, pulizia e gentilezza dell’host!

Groot, schoon en mooie locatie. Vlak bij station van Nagiso dus handig als de ‘posttrail’ loopt. Eigenaresse vriendelijk & behulpzaam, lekker eten in restaurant van haar moeder en ontbijt in haar eigen café. Aanrader

Niets

Anju was the best host ever! We have traveled pretty extensively and I cannot say enough about our stay at this spotlessly clean, traditional Japanese home! Communications were answered properly and they even made dinner reservations for us to a wonderful local restaurant. Nagiso was a wonderful place to start our hike on the Nakasendo way!!
