For me, it was the best stay ever. Great location right on the Nakasendo Trail, a beautiful and well-appointed home with everything you could possibly need or want, and the most gracious and accommodating hosts ever. I would definitely stay there again when I'm in the area.
I hated leaving. I want to stay there a few more days and nights. Next time I'm plan accordingly!

A perfect base on the beautiful Nakasendo Trail between Magome and Tsumago. The house is very comfortable and has everything you could need for a stay. Tazumi is such a lovely host, he and his partner collected us from the station, organised our delicious bento meals and drove us back to the station. Thank you so much.

The house is amazing, every little thing was thought about, including a stocked fridge. Takumi, the host, was super helpful. He picked us up from the train station, booked dinner for us, drove us to and back from the restaurant and even drove us to the trail head in the morning. I wish we could have stayed longer
