Amazing location, managed to see Fuji in all of its glory! Owner was lovely.
House and bedroom were absolutely freezing. Did manage to put the heater on in the bedroom luckily. As others put, less so a Homestay as we wanted but staying in someone’s house.

The host was really nice and welcoming offering to pick me up from the train station which was incredibly sweet of her, she's Christian too so it was just a pleasure to be there. My room was comfortable and spacious, and had everything I could need! The kitchen had everything you could need, rice cooker and everything for cooking home, but there were also nice restaurants nearby with good prices.
The flip flops offered should be one time use only as there is a high risk of micosis of the feet (can order them for very cheap online if you buy 100pcs), especially because the bathroom is shared with 2 other rooms. The mattress in one of the beds in my room was used and had a concave shape, making by back hurt after the 2 nights so I had to switch beds, the other were very good. Hope the owner manages to change it. Not a big drawback but something to be aware of!
