The M HONMACHI

We could leave our luggage at a ryokan nearby for the morning and afternoon before the check in. The house was very clean and spacy, very well equipped. A very good kitchen. Good washing machine plus laundry detergent. Quiet nice neighbourhood (unfortunately we didn't have enough time to enjoy).

I should have received the code for the key box per e-mail but I didn't. We had to call the staff but solved the problem fast. In the dark we had to look for the house for a couple minutes as it was in a niche. There were signes, it just took us some time to notice. It was a bit crowdy for 7 people with only one bath. Also we got 6 big and 8 small towels instead of 7/7 :). But it was ll very slight discomfort.

It was nice to stay in the typical house. Location was convenient for what we wanted and calm which suited us well.

Check-in time at 5PM is fairly late when travelling with a kiddo. However they stored the luggage for us and let us check 30 mins earlier. As for the house - nice XP, cold at the arrival but A/C worked like a charm. For a big group it could be very fair quality for price.

The house is big and almost historic. It was like stepping into the 1950's. Very cool that the original sparkle plaster walls are there. Acres of tatami. This was the home of someone well off it seems. Great modern bathroom.

We didn’t receive the lockbox code before arrival and had to call.

カップ系の食器がない。 レースカーテンがない。 リビングのエアコンの設置場所の関係でダイニングキッチンが冷えない。
