Lovely presentation, clean, central and characterful location in Holmfirth. Appreciate the care taken to ensure guests have what they need.

Downsides were lack of nearby long-term parking and the difficulty in getting suitcases up the steep cobbled path to the property. But these were more than compensated for by the positives.

Very clean, lots of room in the dining/lounge area. It is situated within easy walking distance of the town centre and bus station. Wi-Fi access was excellent, and the password was easy to find.

A larger kettle would have been useful, especially if it was cordless. The bedrooms were a little cramped and no room to put suitcases in them (had to leave in the lounge). The access involved either walking up some steep steps or steep cobble stones. Probably not suitable for anyone with a walking disability. 3 out of 4 people thought the beds were too soft. I thought they were quite comfortable!
