The Gold Penny studio apartment at The Bank of England

Excellent location in a beautiful historic building.

The stairs were not expected and a test of my elderly body. The apartment lacks a fan to circulate the hot/ stuffy conditions we encountered.

Emplacement idéal, agréable hauteur sous plafond, jolie décoration, équipement complet pour cuisiner et prendre ses repas sur place

Dernier étage sans ascenseur non spécifié dans l’annonce, lit peu confortable, manque des rideaux pour plus d’intimité sans avoir à fermer complètement les volets (surtout qu’il y avait un chantier en vis à vis), eau bouillante au niveau de l’évier et le chauffage baissait sans action de notre part donc difficile de sauvegarder une température constante et adéquate + communication très moyenne avec les gérants et parties communes mal entretenues (détritus et odeur de poubelles)

Everything we needed in a very spacious apartment, beautifully decorated with quirky touches.

The bath appeared to be leaky - there was quite a puddle in the bathroom after we'd both showered. The overhead shower could use a deep clean as the flow was a little patchy

No signage from foyer & took a while to find up the staircases
