The Gold Penny studio apartment at The Bank of England

Alles! Außergewöhnlich liebevoll und hochwertig eingerichtetes Apartment. Auch die Küche und das Bad sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Es war fast eine Überwindung, das Haus zu verlassen um die Stadt zu erkunden. Die Lage ist perfekt. Die Baustelle vor dem Haus haben wir nicht als störend empfunden.

Eigentlich war alles toll. Was man allerdings wissen sollte: es sind viele Stufen zum Apartment und es gibt keinen Aufzug.

Excellent location in a beautiful historic building.

The stairs were not expected and a test of my elderly body. The apartment lacks a fan to circulate the hot/ stuffy conditions we encountered.

On the surface it looked like a nice apartment - but our experience was poor. Some elements may be out of the owners control but there is much room for improvement.

This was a very unpleasant stay - mostly because of the heat and construction workers opposite. The entry stairwell has visible signs and smells of damp. There are no curtains - particularly in the window by the bathroom allowing construction workers opposite - and very close - unobstructed views when going into or out of the bathroom.. The room was hot and there was no fan or air conditioning. The shutters prevented air circulation so the choice was partially open shutters and more early morning light or no air movement. The construction workers directly outside the window congregate before 7am and start banging & drilling well before 8am. The pillows were uncomfortable.
