Disappointing Stay - Misleading, Over Priced and Poorly Maintained
We were really let down by this property. It’s located next to an industrial site with forklifts and machinery—not the peaceful setting advertised. You can’t properly see Cader Idris, despite the listing suggesting otherwise—it’s actually a 12-minute drive away. The outdoor area was unkempt, with weeds everywhere and a large one growing right in front of the patio seating. The hot tub looked dirty and had no privacy, as it overlooked a field with an airplane-turned-accommodation where other guests could see in. Inside, the place felt tired and not very clean—there were dirty utensils, worn-out pans, a burnt kettle, and stained walls. The beds were also hard and uncomfortable. Overall, it felt neglected and absolutely not worth the £450 a night price tag. Would not recommend.

We stopped for one night with two kids and we loved it! Secluded little barn lovely and private with all the facilities you need! Only a short drive from Barmouth or can walk into the town just the other side of the river for local pubs and for a peaceful walk
