Beautiful cottage with log burner

Location - great location in Snowdonia national park, only a 10 minute drive from the start point of Cadair Idris and about 50 minutes away from other areas like Snowdon, Betws-y-Coed and a shorter drive (~40 minute) to Portmerion. Great little village, with everything you need for your stay - little corner shops for groceries, several pubs, cafes, pharmacist and even some boutiques / charity shops. Property - very spacious property with all the amenities you need. Nice living / dining area with L shape reclining sofa, smart TV so you can log into netflix etc and a good sized dining table for family meals. Kitchen is decent size as well, has a good sized fridge / freezer, modern stove and oven, and even has a dishwasher for your use. Stocked with good kitchen basics as well like cutlery, bowls, plates, pans etc. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms - 2 doubles and one single, bedrooms were clean and beds were comfy - towels were provided in every room so you don't have to take any with you. Nice upstairs modern bathroom upstairs with lovely walk in shower and separate washing machine and tumble dryer (laundry detergent was supplied as well). Host - was very friendly and helpful, sent us messages telling us everything we needed to know with clear instructions on how to get the key and checkout etc. Was also very quick to respond if I had any questions. Overall, lovely property and we really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for a long weekend away for a walking holiday. 9/10.

Parking - not a negative to me but there isn't any parking directly by the property and the closest spaces are permitted, so you need to be careful about that to avoid a ticket. However there is plenty on free street parking on the main road past the church towards the river and bridge. There is also paid parking for short and long stay near the football / rugby club.

tolles stilvolles Haus in ganz ruhiger Seitenstraße mitten im Ort, kleiner Innenhof, es hat 3 Schlafzimmer, anders, als es in booking steht: 2 Doppelbetten (allerdings kleine Breite, ca. 1.50 m) und ein Einzelbett, 1 Badezimmer, das sehr hübsch und geräumig ist, wir waren mit 4 Personen dort, Ort wunderschön mit Steinhäusern, tolle Radwege (und Radverleih) am Fluss entlang und zum Cader Idris hoch und viele Wanderwege, Parken: auf einem Langzeit-Parkplatz (etwas weiter weg als Kurzzeit-Parkplatz) mit Kosten - am besten Gepäck in der Nähe des Hauses auspacken und dann das Auto zum Parkplatz am Fluss fahren, Straße am Haus ist sehr eng, da würde ich nicht reinfahren

A lovely, comfortable cottage in a beautiful location. We had a great stay and would happily return.

Good location. Good shower. Good sized downstairs space.

Dirty carpets (filled the vacuum cleaner 4 times upon arrival. Thin/worn towels. All pillows were firm and overfilled. Double beds had high footboards, making it cramped for a tall (+6ft) person. No instructions on when bins are collected, whether to recycle items or what to do with bed linen at the end of the stay.
