Lovely views, well equipped apartment, comfy beds & lounge area.

The apartment was very spacious and well equipped - we cooked meals with no problem at all, only thing missing from kitchen was a jug, but nothing major at all. The views were lovely over the town and looking over Snowy mountains. The lounge and kitchen area were both very comfy and the beds were also very comfy. Everything was clean on arrival and well maintained, lovely property. Also loved the little noughts and crosses game provided - although I lost a lot. The town is so pretty also, we enjoyed a nice glass of red in one of the local pubs within easy walking distance.

The parking was quite difficult, having to walk up a very steep hill to get to the car when wanting to go out - both being asthmatic this was difficult but we did manage. The unpacking and packing of the car with the steps up to the property and the very narrow lane proved difficult also. I feel this should be made clear in the description. I was forced to reverse down Mount pleasant Road by a local resident on arrival and he refused to reverse and let me past. As a driver of a large car this did cause unnecessary stress on arrival as I couldn’t use my mirrors as the road was too narrow so had to put them in - luckily I have a reversing camera but it was unnecessary stress and had we known about this we may not have booked. The shower was quite weak, but didn’t affect us hugely as we were in no rush whilst we were there. The only other thing was the guests above us (in apartment 3A) we could hear their every move and every word - which was quite hard as we had two dogs with us, so they were permanently on guard and couldn’t relax after some amazing walks locally. Some sound proving may help with this.

Great walking base in Dolgellau

Great position overlooking Dolgellau. Very comfortable for our walking trio. Impressive kitchen/diner with great views over the town. Easy walk into the centre (recommend the food at Torrent Walk Hotel!). Parking arrangement wasn’t a problem for us. We shall be back next time we’re walking in the area!

Smelt mouldy!

The views and the modern interior

It smelt mouldy and damp on arrival. We had to air the accommodation with the windows wide open and had to head out straightaway as it was that unpleasant. It took 48 hours for it to smell fresh, but by this time, we were leaving. Anyone with asthma would have suffered. The accommodation can only be reached by a small or medium car and NOT any larger. We were unable to use the parking bay and had to park on a relatives driveway. If this wasn't available, we would have had to park on the main road leading out of Dolgellau. Not suitable for anyone elderly or with walking disability.

Nice but wouldn’t book again

Kitchen was the best room in the house, views were lovely, welcome biscuits and coffee bits were a nice touch.

Parking is not near the entrance, you have to walk up a steep(!) hill to access your car each time so make sure you unpack everything in one. Single room is right at the top of the stairs so dangerous for a little one - had to have him sleep on a mattress in our room instead. Floor plan or description prior to arrival would have helped with this. Kitchen is so nice - should have put the corner sofa in that room with the tv, and made the ‘living room’ the single room. Rooms are very tired and shabby chic, does what it says on the tin but almost student-esq. Shower leaked throughout our stay - should have been given a discount but no feedback from the owner at all.

Excellent property but not for the unfit or disabled.

Very clean & comfortable property with comfortable beds, excellent lounge & kitchen facilities & just a short walk (albeit downhill/uphill there & back) to the town centre. Our host Marcus was very friendly.

If you book apartment no 3 (as opposed to 3a) you have to park at the rear of the property but cannot access your apartment from the rear. The walk around to the front is down/uphill steep hills either way. The road outside is extremely narrow meaning unloading luggage from the front is an awkward vehicle manoeuvre or else carrying your luggage from the rear which is also awkward.

A nice property. Basic and comfortable.

I was not overly keen on paying a damage deposit. I feel this was a little overzealous of the host. The communication was generic, and I am still not clear when I will get my deposit back

If I had to be negative and I don’t like to be as it was fabulous place to stay and highly recommend, I would say having to strip our own beds before we left. But again not a major thing.

Mold and dirt house

- emplacement - disney + - vu sur les montagnes ( mais carreaux sales)

Maison qui est très humide avec de la moisissure. Malgré l aération, impossible de faire passer l odeur. Elle s est même imprégnée dans nos vêtements et oreillers… Les photos ne reflètent pas la réalité, tout a été fait à la va vite au niveau des rénovations. Des clous dépassent du parquet, je me suis blessée le pied. Les carreaux de carrelage ne tiennent pas. Le ménage n avait pas été fait, il y avait de la poussière, des toiles et araignées dans toutes les pièces. Les draps étaient sales, vaisselles également. Nous avons retrouvé des morceaux de verre cassés dans la cuisine, ma fille a marche dessus… Hôtes inexistants à part des messages automatiques. La lampe au dessus du lit est tombée à moitié. J’ai contacté directement l hôte qui m a répondu de debrancher la lampe et que on aurait pas de frais . Je lui ai dit que je ne le sentais pas de dormir avec lampe au dessus de moi, sa réponse a été de dire que mon mari pouvait l enlever …. Pas dit dans l annonce mais la maison est coupée en 2 sans isolation phonique. On entendait les locataires comme si ils étaient chez nous. Les poubelles dehors n avaient pas été vidées, nous avons dû remporter les sachets chez nous ( 12 h de route avec …) La douche était de bonne taille mais impossible d avoir de l eau tiède et sans pression. Dommage qu’il n’y avait pas de table et chaises pour l extérieur. Le pire logement que j’ai jamais fait. Hors de prix pour la qualité ! Une vrai arnaque
