if you’re looking for natural beauty, and jaw-dropping views, this hotel is absolutely worth stay

A Stay with Million-Dollar Views – Koh Tao, Chalok Bay Our recent stay at this 4-star property in Chalok Bay was truly memorable, and for one reason above all – the views. Whether from our balcony, bedroom, or spa, the scenery was simply breathtaking, easily some of the best on Koh Tao. The peaceful location and stunning surroundings make it worth every penny. On the positive side, a special mention must go to Thomas, the French barman, who brought warmth and charm to every interaction – he really stood out.

there are a few areas the hotel could improve on. Small details, like running out of coffee beans (so only percolated coffee was available), the lobby feeling more like a cluttered fibre room, occasional power trips in the room, and missing basics like hand towels or soap in the public washrooms, do take away from the polish you’d expect at this level

A real island retreat!

This place out did all my expectations. I’ve been to Koh Tao multiple times now however this was my favourite accomodation on the island. The views were insanely beautiful and the staff were all so friendly and accomodating. The food at the restaurant was so delicious - definitely try the Massaman curry wow!!

Läget är jättefint

Väldigt backigt upp eller ner vart du än går. Rummen skulle vara 28m2 och det var det om man räknar in takterrass och balkong själva rummet är bara 18m2. Det skulle finnas minibar, mickro, torktumlare vilket saknades. Frukosten var att välja på tre olika. Kaffemaskinen trasig i 5 av 6 gånger.

Schöne und ruhige Lage mit schönem Ausblick. Kleiner aber feiner Strand ganz in der Nähe, fussläufig am Strand entlang gut erreichbar Toller Ausblick vom Rock Hill Cafe

An der Rezeption ging es ziemlich turbulent zu, was Anfragen schwierig machte zumal diese ganz unten am Berg war und somit nur per WhatsApp auf die Schnelle erreichbar war, aber durch den regen Betrieb dort, wartete man manchmal lange auf Antwort

Navette de l’hôtel qui nous récupère à la sortie du bateau, accueil très agréable, emplacement au calme, proche de la plage et des restaurants. Vue exceptionnelle pour le petit déjeuner qui est excellent aussi.

Le matelas du lit est vraiment trop dure.

Relajante

Las mejores vistas que he tenido nunca. Los cuartos son cajitas de madera sobre pilares en mitad de un bosque muy frondoso y la vista de la bahia con sus colores esmeralda es espectacular. Bajando y caminando por la plataforma de madera hacia mar abierto se llega a una playa excelente desde donde se puede nada con tortugas cada dia. El bosque es frondoso y hay mucha privacidad, ardillas y algo de brisa marina. Se esta muy bien en la terraza. No nos importo subir y bajar tantisimas escaleras cada dia.

Las hormigas, son dimunutas pero hay muchas, muerden mucho y la picadura es dolorosa. El gueko metido en el aire acondicionado te despierta cantando a cualquier hora.

העלייה מהקבלה עד לחדר תלולה מאד עד כדי בלתי אפשרית ברגל, הירידה למסעדה גם כן תלולה מאד, חייב קטנוע להתנייד. המיטה קשה בטירוף. בגלל שהמבנים דקים יחסית אז הם מתחממים מהר מאד, ואי אפשר להשאיר את המזגן דולק.

Disonesti e non professionali – le donne delle pulizie vi umiliano

Terrazza sul tetto del container.

Al check-in mi hanno chiesto un deposito di 1000 BHT. Durante il soggiorno, ho prenotato un taxi da 500 BHT tramite loro. Questa cifra è stata scalata dal mio deposito. Conversazione tracciabile perché avvenuta su WhatsApp. Al check-out ho chiesto la restituzione del resto del mio deposito. Hanno improvvisamente mostrato un foglio compilato da loro a biro in cui affermavano che io non avessi mai lasciato alcun deposito, rifiutandosi di restituire qualsiasi somma. Ovviamente per facilitare loro la situazione facevano finta di non capire. Quando ho chiesto di parlare con qualcuno che parlasse inglese, improvvisamente “capivano” e mi hanno risposto. Altro momento umiliante: mentre stavo portando le mie valigie fuori dalla stanza, due donne delle pulizie sono entrate e hanno iniziato a “pulire” nonostante le mie cose fossero ancora lì. Indossavo le ciabatte del kit di cortesia e una di loro mi ha obbligata a lasciarle, costringendomi a camminare scalza in strada fino alla reception. La mattina del check-out avevo prenotato un taxi per le 8:00. Come già accaduto in precedenza, se ne sono completamente dimenticati. Siamo arrivati al porto solo 10 minuti prima della partenza del traghetto, che stava aspettando solo noi. Questo hotel finge di trattarvi bene, disonesti e senza il minimo rispetto per i clienti. Evitatelo.
