Really great stay - comfortable, spotlessly clean and found everyone to be really friendly and helpful.

Nearby university and affordable compared to hotels. Air conditioning was also very welcome amid the heatwave. Included breakfast was welcome albeit the sausages were fairly solid.

Lack of any amenities was surprising, especially as I was only staying for 1 week. No toilet paper, towel, soap, kettle, any sort of cooking equipment. If short stays are being offered, it needs to be made clear of the lack of amenities. I had to dry myself with my jumper the first night due to no towel. I had to go to Primark and Sainsbury's to buy a mug, towel, toilet paper, soap etc. Shower also leaked very badly, and would flood the very small bathroom area. Bathroom was tiny with barely enough room to use the toilet. The grouting in the bathroom was disintegrating so there were pieces of grout scattered everywhere. Room was in a fair condition but definitely was in need of a hoover and proper clean. Additionally, the check in time confirmed on booking.com was different to the check in time actually being offered by the front desk, whereby I had to wait an hour. When returning, it took approximately 50 minutes to check in behind other customers, with the entire process being incredibly slow.
