Zora Apartments

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The sea view from the terrace is beautiful, and the beach is about a 10-minute walk away. If you don’t have a car, keep in mind that the apartment is uphill. However, Nenad offers a convenient transfer to the apartment for a small fee. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. There is a small market nearby, and larger supermarkets like Aroma are about a 10–15 minute walk away. We especially appreciated that the hosts let us leave our luggage on our last day and even stay and rest until our train. Very kind and thoughtful! We would happily stay here again.

I asked for a particularly quiet room which was the case on the first night. Then suddenly on the second night, noise started towards 11pm with music but happily did not last long. The third night, by midnight I heard furniture being moved but waited to see if they become quiet, when I later heard a vacuum cleaner being used (in the meantime it was 1am!!) I thought that's enough I will knock at the neighbours door to complain and ask them to stop it. What did I see to my biggest surprise? The host!!! Can you believe that? His excuse was the guest left "late" and the room needed to be ready for the next day. Wait: can't you establish rules for your guest that requires a on-time freeing of the apartments so you don't have to bother other guest with the noise of the cleaning? Really? On my last day I had to pay him for the stay and suggested that he could give me a discount for that other night where I finally hardly slept more than 3 hours because of him. He did not want to engage and finally only gave me a discount of 5 Euro (on a total of 210Euro) because I did not take enough cash from the bank or spent it mistakenly. Really a very disappointing and unacceptable attitude from the host. Hence the bad review. If at least he admitted his HUGE mistake and had given me a signifant gesture, then I would not have mentioned this here. But no, he had made his choice.
