The cottage was quiet, spacious and clean. It had everything a holiday home needs and more. I like they had a washing machine and a dryer setup there. We were treated with some lemons and feijoas. Kids loved the place just after entering it, because there was a Tim Tam on the kitchen table. :) Inner space is well enough for a family of 4 or 5. Living area had a gas heater, which were capable of heating the entire cottage. Rooms had electric blankets.
There was a nice walking/hiking path on the way to the cottage. We did the walk and hike and it's family friendly.
It was a little bit away from the Napier city, but that has it's own advantage of quietness as well. It's anyway just 10-15 minutes to the city.
