Cosy home in Heart of Inner City - Darlinghurst

We had a fabulous stay in this little Darlinghurst gem! The location was absolutely perfect — with cafés and a bus stop just around the corner, and so much within easy walking distance. The kids and I really enjoyed ourselves, and it was fantastic value for money. The apartment itself is charming, quaint and full of character. It has that authentic inner-Sydney feel that made our trip feel so much more special than staying in a generic hotel. Everything about the place was cute, cosy and welcoming, and it genuinely added to the experience of our holiday. It’s also a little apartment with so much potential. With a bit of TLC and a few updates, I think this place could be an absolute superstar. The main thing I would suggest addressing is the shower, which leaked quite heavily from the bottom and could definitely do with being repaired. That certainly wouldn’t stop us from coming back, though. We would happily stay here again and I’d definitely recommend it to friends and family looking for somewhere affordable, charming and brilliantly located in Overall, we had a wonderful stay. It was my kids’ first time visiting Sydney, and although I’ve been many times before, staying in this cosy little Darlinghurst apartment gave them exactly the authentic Sydney experience I wanted them to have. It had charm, character and a real sense of being part of the city rather than just staying in a hotel. It made a very special first trip to Sydney even more memorable for us. ❤️

The only thing we weren’t particularly impressed with happened on the Sunday morning as we were getting ready to leave. A tradesperson arrived to change a power meter for the café next door and needed access through our walkway. The walkway was temporarily blocked by a ladder, and we also unexpectedly lost power while we were trying to pack up and get ready to check out. It was only a minor inconvenience, but it would have been appreciated if we had been given some notice that someone would be working in the area and that the power may be interrupted. That said, it certainly wouldn’t stop us from staying again. Overall, we had a lovely experience and this was really the only small issue during our stay.
