Very private and cosy property in a fantastic location. Felt very homely. The host, Phillip, gave us great suggestions for dinner and a lovely morning walking trail into the city.
There were quite a few uneven steps up to the property from the street level, which was no bother at all for us but might be useful to know for anyone with mobility concerns. The booking.com advert mention it was on the “ground level”.

Centrally located for our cruise departing from White Bay.
Facilities clean and comfortable
Climbing one set of stairs and another short set of stairs to get to the front door.
Managing suitcases and hand luggage wasn’t ideal.No door on master bedroom lacked privacy as we had a third person sleeping on the sofa bed in lounge area.

Great communication with Phil
The lock was broken. Basic security to prevent stranger entering the place was broken, I felt unsafe the whole time staying there. I raise with Phil's wife who happened to walk pass, she showed disinterest and wriggle the lock for a good 5 minutes to make it work in front of me. But then still not working. I ran of time to contact Phil because of the dinner appointment, and didn't want to make a fuss since I am only staying for a night, but I couldn't wait to leave the unsecure place.
