I would say my stay there is the best one. As someone coming from a hot country, Edinburgh and Premier Inn really make my stay feel the best. I love to come visit in the future 🏴🤍
8 / 10Excellent·Sep 2026
There was barely anything at all in the room! At a price ***/night, the following is missing:
- Shampoo
- Toiletries (toothbrushes, etc)
- Cups for rinsing
- Face wipes / Tissue paper
- Bottled water
- Fridge
- Slippers
- Phone for dialling to reception to request for the above
Additionally the hotel was extremely understaffed - there was rarely anyone available at check-in.

Just next to New Street, an interesting place to visit. And very convenient to via Waverley station to go up the hill.
6.4 / 10Average·Oct 2026
As expected the room was small (so not complaining about that) and smelled musty. The room lacked what are standard facilities now days (mini bar fridge, safe, proper clothes hanging space, luggage rack). Must say that the bed was excellent. Breakfast wasn't equal to the price. Staff were indifferent.
