Machico was a great base for exploring the island and is a lovely town with plenty of restaurants. The property also had a private garden patio, and the fan was such a relief during the hot weather.
There was nothing significant that we disliked about the property.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment and would happily recommend it, especially for families. It was very spacious and comfortable for our young family, with plenty of room to relax. The hosts were warm, welcoming and helpful, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The apartment was very clean, quiet, and had lots of useful facilities and appliances, making our stay easy and convenient. Everything was true to the photos and description, and we particularly enjoyed the lovely outdoor space.
There were a couple of minor issues. The water temperature could be a little temperamental, and the back door in the rear bedroom would not lock. However, there were additional shutters providing security, so we never felt that this was compromised.

A dream apartment and large living room, dining area, full kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. I enjoyed the outdoor patio. Close to town (10-15mins depending how quick you walk). Close to shops and parking was easy. I had a hire car so the locked underground car park was great. Hosts provided easy self check in and any additional information they were happy to help.
