The house was on a nice quiet street located one block from beach access. Easily walkable. Beautiful sunsets. The sand had shells mixed in, so we opted to drive 5 minutes north to Coquina Beach located on the south end of Ana Maria Island. Beautiful fine sand, plenty of parking, bathrooms, etc. A very nice art/food festival at Coquina is held three mornings a week. Traffic can get heavy during spring break beginning around 4 p.m. going north to Ana Maria, so we just went south towards St. Armands at that time of day. Lots of wonderful restaurants on the island, in St. Armands and Sarasota. Overall, a wonderful location and house!
