About this apartment rental

Recently refurbished apartment, with wi-fi and good sun exposure.

Two bedroom apartment recently renovated, with wifi and good sun exposure. To access the apartment you will have to climb stairs, but the climb is rewarded by the private terrace with a stunning view of Sintra.

The apartment has two bedrooms, each with a double bed. It has two complete bathrooms, one inside one of the bedrooms.
The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine and dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, toaster and kettle. It also has all the necessary utensils for you to cook your meals.

The terrace has outdoor furniture to enjoy the view while drinking a glass of wine typical of the Colares wine region (Sintra) or while tasting a delicious "Travesseiro de Sintra" (regional sweet).

The nearest mini-market is called "A loja do Sr. António" and is a 550m walk from the apartment, where you will find all the essentials.

Parking near the apartment can be a challenge depending on the time of day you try to park. There are some places on the street before (free) and after the apartment (paid).

- The municipality of Sintra charges a tourist tax which is 2€ per person/per night (maximum of 3 nights), except for children under 13, which are exempt. This charge will take place before check-in. It is not included in the reservation.

- A DAMAGE DEPOSIT of 200€ will be asked before check-in. The damage deposit is refundable a 2/3 days after check-out, if no damage is done to the property.

The apartment was very nice, great location. Very few amenities, not even salt and pepper, Kleenex or paper towels, but since we didn't cook there it wasn't an issue for us. Host company staff was rude in their communications to me when we tried to store our baggage in the apartment since we got to town earlier than expected and before check in time.

Picturesque views and architecture. Second story unit with stairs from the entry door up. Bathrooms remodeled with modern tile, glass and fixtures, but the shower curtain in the master bathroom is too short, so water gets all over the floor outside the shower. There is also a pump of some sort associated with the water running that hammers periodically even when the water isn’t running. Other than those minor issues it’d be 5-star.

The apartment was lovely, a beautiful view, full amenities, close to the town center. Good communication with the host, would definitely recommend as a stay in Sintra.
