Villa in Sintra - Casa da Penha Ferrim

Lovely house with lots of room for a big family/group of friends. Big private garden with parking and facilities to cook and dine outdoors. Walking distance to the centre of Sintra and, in days when no one feels like going far, there's enough restaurants within 5 minutes walk. One day we took a path from a side street all the way to the castle and it's a wonderful thing to do. There's also a little grocery shop across the street where you can get the essentials. I'll definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to visit Sintra but doesn't want to be right in the middle of the tourists downtown 😉

The house doesn't have a living room so, at night, you need to use the kitchen as sitting room or, in our case, we used one of the 3 bedrooms. Outside there's also a lovely sitting area, weather permitting.

Good location. The bus stop is in front of the villa.

There is no living room. The kitchen is tiny. The door in the bathroom was not closed.
