The Chickadee Bay House has it all! Nestled along the shore in beautiful Trenton, Maine, this two-story home offers breathtaking views of Mount Desert Island and direct access to the beach. Located off a quiet drive, it's designed for comfort, relaxation, and memorable gatherings with family or friends. The home features a thoughtful layout to accommodate everyone: upstairs, a king master suite and a bedroom with two twin bunk beds share a full bathroom. Downstairs, two queen bedrooms share another full bath. Sliding glass doors open to a deck with a grill, perfect for enjoying meals while taking in sweeping ocean views. Outside, guests can relax on the spacious lawn, stroll along the beach in front of the home, or take a short drive to explore Acadia National Park. With unbeatable views, spacious living areas, and easy access to Maine's iconic coast, the Chickadee Bay House is the perfect seaside retreat.

The two homes can be booked individually, or both homes can be booked under Carroll's Cove. Please note a third home is also on site and is the owner's residence. Past guests have loved their stays at the Chickadee Bay House! We look forward to hosting you!

We had a great stay at Philip's place! The house was clean, right on the waterfront, and exactly as advertised. Our adult children had a great time rafting on the bay, and one of our favorite moments was watching the beautiful sunrise over the bay, for which you will need to walk about 50 yards along the beach to the boulder to the left side. Note the duel bunk beds are in a small room, essentially inside the 2nd floor master bedroom. Philip was a wonderful host—he even helped us get a campfire going and brought us extra firewood, which made the evening even more enjoyable. We really appreciated his hospitality and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The owner lives in a house on the property and greeted us upon arrival. He was very attentive and even ran out to buy a coffee maker for us when he realized there wasn't one in the house. The house is on the water, and we were lucky enough to arrive in time to watch the strawberry moon rise. My kids loved collecting shells and rocks and building a fire.

Everything we could ask for in a stay near Acadia. Right on the water, we saw plenty of wildlife and took the kayaks out often. Plenty of space for the 7 people we had along on the trip. Great stay and friendly hosts!

The place was super clean and location was spot on. The view of the bay is breathtaking. You won’t be disappointed!! This place is beautiful and peaceful! Also met the owner of the property. He was a true gentleman and gave great tips on places to visit. My family will definitely be back.
