About this house rental
La Mimosa is one of only ten houses in our “Borgo Santa Chiara”. It benefits from an exceptional position in the hills of the Tuscan Maremma, only a few miles from the coast and situated in the heart of an 18-hole golf course with breathtaking views over the rolling Tuscan hills and Mediterranean forests down to the sea and the Isle of Elba. The local climate is especially mild, even by Italian standards, with outdoor activities possible 12 months of the year.
The property is fenced and a driveway leads to the houses which are set around a central courtyard planted with olive and cypress trees. Each house also has its own garden with a shaded seating area and two covered parking spaces. There are also communal gardens and a 20-meter swimming pool.
The kitchen and living rooms of La Ginestra are on the ground level with large windows and French doors opening onto the garden. The house has 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms upstairs and a separate cloakroom and office/service room on the ground floor.

We rented a house in Borgo Santa Chiara and it was a true delight. Carlo has welcomed us upon our arrival and made us feel the most comfortable, explained routines and gave tips for our stay. Borgo itself is wonderfully kept and looked after and it sits just in the middle of a golf course. The immediate surroundings are beautiful and certainly met our expectations. The only downside we found was that the surrounding villages weren’t that attractive and we had to drive quite a bit to get to our desired destinations by the sea. This however may not be the case for those who look for quite, super clean, spacious, modern and high standard accommodation close enough to both, the Tuscan inland and its coast. Another extra star goes for the pet friendliness that can be rather tricky to find. Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier and Carlo and his sister have truly understood and sorted remaining administrative parts efficiently and promptly. We highly recommend Borgo Santa Chiara and look forward to return for a quite week or weekend into its little paradise.

What a wonderful home! One of the places where the reality is better than the pictures would indicate.
From the arrival, the region information provided, the really wonderful home (clean, well equipped, newly refurbished, great location - basically in the middle of the golf course), the immediate support whenever needed, everything was really great. Carlo, thanks so much for making our stay so easy and perfect!
