Das Haus lag mitten in der Natur und bot absolute Ruhe. Außer den Haustieren des Besitzers, wie den Hühnern, war es herrlich still. Auf dem Weg zum Haus haben wir abends sogar Rehe gesehen, die ganz entspannt über den Weg liefen, ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto in etwa 5 Minuten erreichbar, ebenso traumhafte kleine Buchten. Auch Portoferraio und Porto Azzurro liegen ganz in der Nähe.
Der Weg dorthin ist zwar unbefestigt und nicht besonders lang, fühlt sich aber etwas länger an. Wer jedoch etwas Besonderes sucht, die Natur genießen und dem Alltag entfliehen möchte, nimmt das gerne in Kauf. Die Ruhe und die wunderschöne Umgebung machen den kleinen Umweg mehr als wett.

ottima posizione centrale rispetto a tutte le spiagge dell'isola. Immersa nella campagna elbana ma non distante dal mare e dai servizi, in un silenzio davvero rigenerante. La casa e' molto confortevole e gli host davvero gentili e sempre disponibili. Consigliatissima!
