My husband and I booked a long getaway over the Memorial weekend and couldn’t have been more pleased with the apartment! Perfect location, very clean and ease of communicating with Jay was great. The apartment had everything we needed and then some. Extra nice touches taking it to the next level (coffee/tea, snack basket, extra toiletries basket in case you forgot something and great info on the surrounding area and all it offers). We took the Lariat Loop one day as recommended and it didn’t disappoint! Definitely a must is to take the extra 18 mile drive up to Echo Lake! I would highly recommend booking this wonderful apartment! Thanks Jay for an awesome getaway!! Brian and Michele

Our trip was a combination of business in Denver and leisure, and the city of Golden proved to be the ideal base for both. The light rail into Denver was incredibly convenient—just a short distance from the property and easy to navigate.As for the accommodations, the Golden Foothills Suite exceeded our expectations. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the emphasis on sustainability and stewardship to the small travel essentials you might forget to pack—everything was taken care of.The building is quiet, impeccably maintained, and each time we returned, it truly felt like coming home.Jay is a wonderfully attentive host, responding promptly to any questions we had before and during our stay. Even before we arrived, Jay kindly offered to take us hiking—and of course, we said yes! He and Susan guided us through a scenic hike in Apex Park, pointing out local birds, native plants, and stunning geological features along the way.All in all, this was one of the best vacation rentals we've ever stayed in—highly recommended!

I usually drive thru Golden each year on my way up to the mountains for skiing. It’s a great way to acclimatize for a day.I chose this VRBO based on how it looked and its convenient location. Close to town, groceries and nice places to eat at night.The place was immaculate and the host couldn’t have been more attentive and accommodating. Bathroom was modern and clean, kitchen well kitted out, electronics all worked perfectly, excellent parking and a very comfortable bed. I would recommend this place highly to anyone!

I can't say enough positive things about this property and the hosts, Jay and Susan. From the initial booking, the communication from the hosts was second to none. If we had questions, Jay was responsive and attentive to any needs we might have. He was also an excellent source of knowledge regarding activities in Golden and surrounding areas. We were thrilled with all the little extras in the condo. Extra nightlights in the bedroom and hallway that worked on motion sensors provided an illuminated stroll to the bathroom or kitchen at night. The kitchen was nicely stocked with coffee and tea which we really enjoyed. The "in case you forgot" basket saved us a few trip to Walgreens, and the welcome basket with snacks and local dining and hiking information was a nice gesture. The condo is decorated to celebrate all things Colorado and the location, which is walkable to downtown Golden and close to hiking trails and Red Rocks, is a huge plus. I would highly recommend anyone looking to visit Golden to take advantage of this amazing property and the hospitality of Jay and Susan.

My husband and I enjoy traveling and have stayed in rental homes around the world. Jay goes above and beyond! The condo furnishings are new and comfortable. The place was spotlessly clean! Cleanliness is one of the big things I look for and this place was VERY clean. The condo had everything we needed for the week and Jay’s hospitality went above and beyond. He left a breakfast bar with assorted fruits and cereals, coffee and tea and snacks. We only needed to contact him once and he responded immediately to assist us. I highly recommend staying at Jay’s place.

The apartment was spotless and stocked with snacks and everything we needed in the kitchen! This property was absolutely amazing! Need to be more than 5 stars! Our host was absolutely oustanding with communication immediately after boooking. His instructions were amazing. The property was exceptionally clean. All the amenities you could ask for was here. Our host Jay communicated exceptional during our stay with recommendations with local amenities. I have stayed at my fair share of vacation rental properties and I've gotta say this one is at the TOP. Amenities were exactly as listed. Everything in the apartment was top-notch; clean, great quality, comfortable. Jay, the host, was friendly and very helpful. We were basically snowed-in and didn't get out to our concert, but we weren't too upset about it. Jay even offered us extra time to check out in case the snow impeded our departure. This property is top on our list for a return visit.

The best VRBO experience we’ve ever had bcse of hosts, Jay and Susan. Communication was immediate, thorough and kind. The condominium was spotless, modern and well cared for. A generous welcome basket and thoughtful note greeted us upon first entering the condominium. Also, we were welcomed with a beautifully decorated and lighted table top Christmas tree. Tasteful Christmas decorations were discretely place all around. The kitchen was well equipped, spotless and small chalk boards placed on the counters providing valuable information about the kitchen and composting. The amenities were thoughtful and abundant. The condominium was centrally located in Golden and very close to our daughter providing very easy travels for our family. We loved our visit and will definitely stay with Jay and Susan again. They are five star hosts along with their beautiful and comfortable condominium.

Much appreciation!! How lucky am I that this delightful condo was available for a three-night, mid-week period when I found myself in surprise (and semi-desperate) need of modern, esthetically pleasing (I’m a sucker for clean lines and high ceilings), and calm digs in Golden. The hosts’ description of the amenities and other attributes is spot-on, but I’ll add that it is effectively wired with a comfortable workspace, is welcomingly quiet, notably peaceful, sports a great kitchen area and washer/dryer set-up (yes, I had to do a load of laundry?!), and is also relaxingly safe, warm, cozy but spacious, and in a super convenient ‘close-to-heart of Golden’s-center’ location. And may I also mention that one of my favorite Natural Grocers in Colorado is currently nearby, too? (so cool). Anyway, I needed to efficiently navigate some impromptu personal and professional schedules based out of this part of the world, and this place looked like it would check all the boxes. It did and then some!! I cannot be complimentary enough about this condo or its gracious, accessible hosts (Jay and family, thank you – such excellent instructions and thoughtful touches, too). I already love Golden. I love it that much more, now!
