12 Acres of peace and quiet. 2 decks to relax on and watch the wildlife. Nice walking area! Beautiful night sky to enjoy from the patios. A separate building called the Texas Saloon with a bar, dartboard, and refrigerator. 2 outside fire pits and cornhole
22 miles from Ft Cavazos, Killeen, 52 Miles from Austin,77 miles to Waco. Perfect place to enjoy outdoor living and a comfortable 4-bedroom house to lounge in with 2 living areas.
Great place for families of soldiers to be in all one place for graduations and family events. A central area to explore all of the hill country's beauty, Historic sites, vineyards, breweries, and restaurants.

Mrs. Burns and Mrs. Laurie were amazing!! Communication was always available if needed. The Ranch was beyond amazing, roomy, clean, peaceful. It felt like we were at home. Just a short drive from the base far enough out that we could enjoy the moon and stars. I can’t thank them enough for all they gave us. I definitely suggest spending your time away from all the noise of life at the Ranch!

We love staying at Dorolar Ranch! This was our second visit and we will be back! It feels like home—everything we need is always there AND more! Our kiddos love it and our family that lives in the local area love to come and hang out too! There’s so much nature and we feel so safe out there. It is very private and Joyce always keeps the place well-stocked! She is so thoughtful, very quick to respond, and always has little goodies for the kids. We always feel welcome and relaxed! Can’t wait for our next visit!

We had fun exploring the surrounding area, and camping for the hummingbird at the feeder while also enjoying a meal or two at the deck. The eclipse was a treat; there was a gap in the clouds in the right time and place for us to be able to see the total eclipse, and in few minutes the clouds came back, signaling it was time to leave.

We have enjoyed our one week stay SO much that we are extending! We were looking for a place out in the country where our kiddos could run free and this place has definitely delivered! The owner and Joyce are wonderful and the best hosts we’ve ever encountered! We travel quite a bit as I’m a business owner and we home school so we have stayed in many places. This has been so peaceful, relaxing, and we feel so incredibly safe here. The house is big with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms! Great for our large homeschooling family! There is lots of wildlife out here and several porches to perch on. The two living rooms have been great for the kids since we have different age groups and when we allow screen time, the littles can watch their cartoons in one living room as the bigger kiddos get to watch their shows in the other. My husband and I have felt right at home. When we text Joyce, she is so responsive and such an excellent communicator, plus one of the sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting! We are extremely happy to have found this place! We hope to be back soon and are thrilled that we get to extend our stay!

Comfortable home for family visit in Florence. Small touches, such as coffee and snacks, were a much appreciated bonus. Property manager available and responded quickly to any questions.
