Charming Santa Fe River Cottage - 10-15 min from 3 of FLA's most popular springs

Love the quiet secluded location and close by many springs. 30 mins from Gainsville and the Oaks Mall where we had plenty of shopping available and our kids loved the trampoline park there. Closest grocery store was around 30 mins away but we were able to find dolllar general market with everything we needed a little closer. The hostesses were great at all communications with us before and during our stay! I would recommend bringing plenty of personal towels for any water activities planned bc they are not provided at the cabin, which I figured since they weren’t mentioned in description and I brought us all one but wished I would of brought more instead of having to wash them everyday for next days activities. Bath towels, and dish rags and towels were available for use. We were very pleased with how kitchen was stocked with anything we needed for cooking! I would recommend bringing several extra rolls of tp and napkins for 3 nights stay.. No bar or body soap or laundry detergent is provided, keep in mind. I always extra prepare so had all that and was able to wash our clothes everyday! No complaints with our stay we enjoyed the home very much, just wanted to tell a few recommendations from us!

This was our third stay at this property and we just love how peaceful it is. At night all we could hear were birds, frogs, and bugs singing…really nice! Cute kitchen has everything you need, we go up to Publix for food so we don’t have to eat out at every meal. Even though this is kind of a remote area the WiFi works great, I took an online exam for school and no issues! I love the upgraded lock for the front door, no more worrying about losing the key! Plenty of room to relax inside or outside with large screened in areas both upstairs and downstairs. In the past we have kayaked the Santa Fe and ended our paddle at the boat ramp right down the road so it was super easy to cart our kayaks back to the house. We always visit High Springs to eat at The Great Outdoors and ice cream afterwards. Visiting Ft. White is always a welcome respite from congested Pinellas County where we live.

The tv wouldn’t work in the spare room. The pull out couch bed frame was broke . The front door digital lock had issues . The rental was located near springs
