The North Norfolk Coast is an easy drive, with Holt, 14 miles, and Burnham Market (known as the Hampton’s of Norfolk), 26 miles, with delicatessen, shops, pubs and restaurants. Holkham Hall, 27 miles. The popular village of Wells-next-the-Sea, 22 miles, has a picturesque quay, narrow gauge railway and quaint mix of artisan and traditional seaside shops, cafés and amusements. Blakeney, 19 miles, Cley-next-the-Sea and Salthouse, 17 miles, offer a National Trust bird reserve and salt marshes.
