William Marriott First Class Stay
Unique and great if on a budget. In a nice quiet location. Fun for kids. Handy kitchenette too if you want to self cater. Nice area to sit and have a drink outside of the carriage. Steve was very helpful and there is a designated parking space for you. The cafe was affordable and accommodating. Dog friendly too in both the Carriage and cafe, lots of areas to walk your dog too.
There is a cafe and bar on site but not that accessible during the week in the evenings. When we were able to use it though they were very accommodating for a vegan diet. Great vegetarian options too and good price. The downside was that as we stayed Mon-Fri there was no steam train ride available, although from what I understand that is down to the local council and restrictions, not the fault of the museum and the owner. Overall I would say if youre staying for the trains and aren't wanting to go far for food and drink, book on a weekend.
