Whitwell and Reepham Station - Tom

In the middle of nature, calm and silent , very good place to rest with the family

Lovely site & great views for the station. We came with our 2 children & there’s plenty to do nearby.

Everything was good. The only thing is that the oven could use an extra tray & maybe a couple of Pyrex dishes for cooking. Otherwise no complaints.

The static caravan is a good size for a family of four and very well located for visiting Norwich, Blickling Hall and the coast which were our main reasons for staying there. We weren't there for very long but enjoyed a walk along part of the nearby Marriot Way. We had great communication with the owner beforehand and it was exceptionally clean and tidy when we arrived. The beds were all fine and we were pleased to have two toilets which was another reason for choosing this particular place. The included wifi is a must for our teenagers.

There were several factors which are all relatively minor but some have been mentioned in other people's reviews and strangely don't seem to have been addressed. If they were fixed then they would all help to improve what was already a comfortable stay. I sent a message to the owner about them as I didn't think they needed to be mentioned in a public review but I thought they should be reported as some may have been merely oversights or due to delayed maintenance. The main thing was the dripping tap in the kitchen which has been mentioned several times and can be rather annoying but would be simple to fix; also there were a few things missing like a bin bag and hand soap in the kitchen but again perhaps they were oversights. Also one particular inconvenience which is due to an odd design was the arrangement of the doors of the two bedrooms and the bathroom which all open outwards in a tiny space and overlap each other and can cause four adults to become rather grumpy with each other when access is blocked! However, these are all minor and should not detract from the pleasant stay.
