This air conditioned second story Condo with a full kitchen offers great views with ease of access to the unit. Enjoy the freedom of cooking and preparing your own meals in our full kitchen complete with granite counters, refrigerator with ice maker, range oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender to make your very own tropical drinks and more! No need to pack a huge suite case as our unit has its own washer and dryer, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and other miscellaneous beach toys! Our dining table seats up to 5 adults.

Our bedroom offers a king sized memory foam topped bed allowing for an amazing night sleep to get you ready for your next day of adventure! There is a sliding door to allow access to the lanai from the bedroom as well. Our bedroom also comes equipped with a 50” TV and its own air-conditioner (not all units at Hanalei Bay Resort have an air-conditioner in their bedroom).
The bathroom offers granite counter tops and slate floors, as well as an iron and ironing board in the closet as well as a hair dryer.
Spend your mornings taking in the amazing mountain and partial ocean view while eating breakfast and sipping coffee on our large lanai before heading out to experience all the amazing outdoor activities Kauai has to offer.

We spent 7 nights at this property for our anniversary. The resort was beautiful and centrally located. Nice beach access. The condo has a breathtaking view. We loved playing tennis. The host provided rackets and tennis balls. Unit equipped. Overall, the main downside and reason for the rating was the pervasive noise from the above unit.This unit (2nd floor of 3), turned out to be quite noisy. We could often hear sounds from the unit above—furniture moving, footsteps, conversations, and showers. Even as a generally heavy sleeper, both of us woke up multiple times during the nights to the noise of our neighbors.

The unit was as advertised, with the exception of the bed. It was far more comfortable than advertised. Everything was perfect and having the two AC units, which most condos don't have, was a great bonus. This was our fourth time at this resort and was by far the best unit we've experienced.

Prince like was a good location to stay for good views and close beach. Hanalei was great town just down the road. Book boat tours from the north shore early so you don’t have to drive down to the south.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is beautiful as is the linae and view of the property and bay. The walk to the beach can be a little slippery when wet lol but not too difficult, steep hills so best to be in decent shape (kinda true for the whole island ). We went in December and it poured every 40 min for about 5-7 which required some flexibility and didn’t ruin even a minute of our stay, seemingly nothing could. I can’t rave enough about the entire trip, our lodging very much included. Anthony was super attentive and wonderful to work with :) Mahalo

We loved where this unit was located in the resort. Easy access to the pools, grills, restaurants and path to the beach. Golf cart shuttles were key! Loved the unit, suited our needs very well. There are a lot of resort fees such that the total cost ends up higher than I expected .

The location and views are STUNNING. The house is clean and very comfy. The resort was weird for us but probably more accommodating for the golfer or all inclusive resort going type of guest. There was creepy talk at the front desk when we checked in about keeping the property "safe" from locals. There are zero Hawaiians that own property in Princeville which also felt really wrong. The sports bar cheapened the vibe at the resort's restaurant, but might be your cup of tea. The hot tub was not open during our entire stay and there are no blackout curtains in the bedroom. That all said, we still had a lovely time exploring the island and the property is truly gorgeous.

This was probably the worst VRBO experience we have had..so bad in fact, I don’t think we will ever do it again. The musty smell of mold and mildew almost knocked us over when we walked in the door. It looks like there was a significant water issue because you can see the base boards and the bottom of the doors were starting to peel and come apart. Every time we flushed the toilet we held our breath hoping it didn’t overflow. Blankets covering the couch?! Looked like we were staying with an elderly family member. The view off the deck was very nice. It was the only plus. we could literally hear every word the people staying next to us said…so, pretty sure they heard us as well. This place needs a major Reno and until they do. They will get horrible reviews. It’s very obvious the property owner knows these issues exist and simply doesn’t care. It’s nothing short of a money grab

Great spot for our 40th wedding anniversary. The development is older, probably built in the 70’s. But the upkeep is wonderful and the landscaping mature and beautiful. The unit we stayed in is partially renovated and looks like it has fresh paint in some rooms . The furniture gives it a comfortable retro vibe. It has a beautiful view of the mountains with waterfalls and a peek of the bay. It’s very big for a one bedroom. The bed was very comfortable. It has AC and a washer/dryer. Both appreciated. Like some VRBO units it was stocked sparingly. No bath soap or shampoo, only hand soap. No coffee for the first morning. But the store is a short drive. We would definitely stay at this location, and this unit again.

Overall a beautiful condo and we had a wonderful stay - here is a pro/con list I made while staying here! Pros) - Amazing property, the pool is delightful and there is a nice paved walking path to a great beach. Has a ton of amenities and would definitely come back again! - The balcony has a perfect view of the lush green mountains (and bonus! there is a super cool green gecko that lives in the vines outside the balcony, we saw it a couple times!). - The condo stays really cool WITHOUT using the AC, just keep the curtains closed. - It’s nice that everyone leaves things behind for the next people to use (like sunscreen, frozen cocktail *thank you to whomever!*, laundry soap, etc.); although I will say it is a little sketchy not knowing exactly what was in the room to begin with (though I did know the obvious due to some of the instructions I was given). Cons) - There was a bowl of half eaten icecream in the freezer, I’m not sure how thorough the cleaning service is. Some of the towels also had brown stains (possibly from a self tanner as I noticed a few bottles in the cabinet) but we bought bleach and cleaned them ourselves. - There isn’t darkening curtains so I did feel a little strange having see-through curtains throughout the rooms. - I didn’t see a smoke alarm, although I could have missed one.

My girlfriend and I were thrilled with our visit to Kauai and our stay in this great unit in Hanalei Bay Resort (HBR). Anthony was a great host and helped us to arrange timely checkin and checkout based upon our travel schedule. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, including all of the necessary beach stuff. It was also very centrally located for easy access to the pools, tennis courts, bbq grills, restaurant/lounge, and the beach. The walk to and from the beach was very manageable and it was a great spot for snorkeling, with nice shade trees to shield us from the sun and the occasional burst of rain…I even saw a turtle while snorkeling. The upscale 1 Hotel recently opened next door and it’s also nice that HBR guests are welcome to visit their beachside bar, restaurant and restroom. Besides all of that, we really enjoyed checking out the north shore area beaches, restaurants (especially Tahiti Nui) and hiking along the Napali Coast at Hā'ena State Park (be sure to arrange in advance). We’ve been to all of the islands and now think that Kauai (north shore) is the gbest, thanks to our experiences on this trip, which was definitely enhanced by our stay in Anthony’s unit, with a shout out as well to his friendly and helpful Housecleaner Yolanda (Yo)!

Excellent unit with a quick walk to the resort pool (2 mins) or a gorgeous beach on Hanalei bay (about 5 mins). This unit feels large with a nice comfy couch in the living room and a large lanai that is in the shade most of the day. Powerful AC in both the main room and the bedroom. A beautiful view of the mountains and the water from the lanai just makes this place a little corner of paradise. The owner was great to deal with and super communicative. We'll definitely be back to this paradise retreat!

The resort itself is gorgeous and the unit (Hala #5207) was everything we hoped for. Couldn’t be more perfectly situated and seemed to attract a nice mix of people, the only exception being the folks next door in unit 5206 who were loud until late and smoked on the porch which drifted into our unit. They clearly say no smoking anywhere on the property except for a designated area in the parking lot (which was pretty nice I might add). But overall it was only a minor inconvenience. We loved drifting off to the sounds of rustling palm trees and the view from the patio was beautiful. Mostly mountains with a bit of Hanalei bay which was perfect. We will definitely return.

Overall the property was ok. The view over Hanalei Bay was great and the resort amenities were nice though one restaurant, not affiliated with the property, so no body serving drinks at the pool. A few things of note, the condo itself would greatly benefit from having a few basic things (dishwasher pods/soap, updated kitchen utensils, bathroom soap/shampoo), bed with an aftermarket memory foam topper. Be aware of the resort check in fee and parking rates. Most tennis courts are in rough shape. The golf cart rides to/from the beach was nice.

We were very pleased with this rental. Comfy living room with perfect view of Hanalei Bay and the green mountains. The bed was great with foam topper. We didn’t have any aches from not sleeping in our own bed. A golf cart picks you up at room and can take you down to the beach. Any beach things you may need are in the closet. Best poke is from the Dolphin Fish Market in Hanalei. Only suggestion to owner is to add a rubber mat because tub is slippery to climb out of and there are no grab bars. Also a starter morning of coffee would be great for first morning before heading to grocery store. This is now on our favorite places to return list. Mahalo!

This is an exceptionally beautiful property. I loved the rides to the beach. We couldn’t use the pool in February because it is not heated. The hot tub was being repaired. We still had a wonderful vacation there.
