Log house with private pool on the Common Gageac Roque. Open views to the falling of the Dordogne and the village of La Roque Gageac. This house is located in the heart of the Dordogne near the most beautiful villages as well as the most famous prehistoric sites. For most athletes tree climbing, canoeing, Paint Ball, Golf nearby. For other lazy !!!!

We had a fantastic holiday for two weeks in this house. Price / value ratio was excellent. The house is nicer and bigger then shown on the photo's. The two sleeping rooms at the 1st floor are very spacious. At arrival the house was cleaned very well. We enjoined also the swimming pool which has a very nice terrace with a big floating parasol (which is not on the photos). Also it was equipped with brand new beach chairs. There is also a quite neat bathroom with good and large (8kg) washing machine. The location of the house is unbeatable. Just 10-15 minutes walk to the famous Roque Gageac village. Same distance to Canoe rental and a beach. The nearby beach (Plage des pendoilles) is also the best Dordogne beach there is we found out! Also other sightseeing is amazingly close by. Apart from Rocomadour we never drove more then 20 minutes to visit sightseeing.

La Salamandre is perfect in every way possible, perfect position, peaceful and quiet, short walk from the beautiful village of La Roque Gageac, beautiful pool, 3 comfortable double rooms, so well stocked, everything you need and more, we recommend this property very highly.
