About this house rental
Baywatch is a beautiful home that has a view of West Galveston Bay, the Gulf of Mexico and is on a community water pond. There are balconies on the front and back of the house to take in the spectacular Pointe West community. Everywhere you look there is water, nature and relaxing beauty!
The first floor has an open living, dining and kitchen area. There is a large balcony facing the bay off the living area. Plenty of seating to enjoy meals, sunrise and sunset. The full-size laundry is tucked in the hallway on the way to the first bedroom. The room has great water views, a queen size bed and a balcony overlooking the water pond. A full bath is just outside the bedroom door and accessible to living area.
Upstairs there is three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The back two bedrooms have access to a large bedroom where they can enjoy the sunrise over the Gulf of Mexico. The large primary bedroom is in the front of the house. It has a private ensuite bathroom with a clawfoot soaker tub. There is a large balcony with
comfortable seating to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening cocktail in privacy.
The outdoor shower is located under the home on the ground floor and is ideal for washing off the sand from a day at the beach or fishing/kayaking/or paddle boarding on the bay. The driveway has plenty of parking for the guest in this home.
This location is ideal for a golf cart to travel around the community, but it is not necessary as there is plenty of parking at the pools and beach access areas.
The Pointe West Community is secluded and is the perfect quiet beach getaway.
A short 30-minute drive puts you in the center of historic Galveston. You can tour mansions, walk The Strand, see the cruise ships arrive and depart, go to The Pier amusement park and so much more!
WRISTBAND POLICY
The Property Owners Association (POA) at Pointe West collects a wristband fee of $25 per guest for each guest over the age of 4 (children younger than 4 do not pay) for use of the Beach Club and Sunset Pools during your stay at Pointe West. No wristbands are required to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Pointe West this fee is only for use of pools, fitness center, and other amenities. A reservation has been made in your name for your rental period at Pointe West. The wristbands are available at the Beach Club reception every day during business hours (9-5 off season, 9-6 peak season). The physical address for the Beach Club is 4161 Pointe West Drive, Galveston, TX. 77554. You do not have to purchase a wristband to enjoy the restaurant/bar at Pointe West. Your reservation will allow you to receive a temporary band to enjoy this business amenity.

Entertained customers on serval fishing trip. House was very nice. Only thing I would say about the property was no lights worked down outside where the picnic table was. Went over to to on and off switch and got shocked. You need to get that fixed someone might get hurt.

First off, the house is beautiful. Everything is top notch, from the appliances to the decor. Very clean and comfortable! We really didn’t need to bring a thing other than beach towels and mosquito spray!!! If you plan to grill there is a small charcoal grill so bring charcoal. But if you forget anything there is a convenient grocery store a few miles away. We had a group of twenty something’s and even though it rained most of the time, they were still able to fish and go to the beach. We played lots of games and did a few puzzles and watched tv. Really just a great family house for spending time together and making memories! We have stayed at several Pointe West houses and this is a new favorite! Thank you Linda and Mary Alice for making everything seamless! We will definitely rent here again!

Beach house was great. Clean. Little issue but was handled respectfully. Good communication with property managers. Loved all the porches was able to move around to either be in sun or shade. Had a wonderful kitchen set up. As we all know mosquitoes are horrible. So bring spray for the bottom if you need to be down there. Shower downstairs was great to clean the littles before coming up! They loved it. Nice location to get to san luis beach via vehicle and very close to the smaller pool/lazy river. We definitely enjoyed!!

The property was amazing. We just had some concerns with the mosquito you could not hardly enjoy the outside of the property.
