About this house rental
Everybody gets the “big bed” in this spacious home with 3 king beds and a bunk room for the kids. Located in the exclusive Pointe West neighborhood 20 minutes from Galveston, you can escape the crowds to relax and enjoy the community amenities including private beach, beach club pool, lazy river pool, on-site restaurant and game room.
Additionally, there is a nearby pocket beach park with drive-on vehicle access making it easier to bring your canopy and beach toys for swimming, surfing, fishing or sand castle building. If saltwater fishing is your preferred way to relax, you can walk out 300 yards from the house to wade fish in the bay.
After a long day at the beach or in one of the Pointe West pools, enjoy relaxing in the main living area featuring an open floor plan and chef’s kitchen with double ovens. Whether it’s a morning sunrise or evening sunset, this home’s exquisite in-room and balcony views won’t disappoint.
If you feel like an evening out, but don’t want to drive into Galveston, there are several restaurants nearby including an on-site restaurant at the Pointe West Beach Club offering poolside service.

Overall, the house is beautiful and very new, which made for a pleasant first impression. However, it was missing some thoughtful extras that would have enhanced the experience. Guests are expected to bring everything themselves—beach chairs, toys, and other beach essentials—as none are provided. The kitchen is minimally stocked with only the basic cookware, so be prepared to bring or purchase anything beyond the essentials.In previous stays at similar homes, the experience felt more like a true home away from home, with extra touches that made packing and planning easier. This property, unfortunately, didn’t offer that same convenience.Additionally, the two master bedrooms upstairs share a deck with absolutely no privacy. There are no blinds or coverings on the doors, which was quite disappointing. We ended up purchasing inexpensive curtains and taping them up ourselves just to feel comfortable. One of the master bathrooms also had a shower that didn’t drain properly, which was frustrating.Lastly, while the home does have an elevator, it’s not accessible to renters. That was a letdown, especially since we’ve stayed in other homes where elevator access was included and made things much easier.The house is adjacent across the street to the beach club so it’s easy access by car or golf cart. close to a public beach access.I don’t think I would stay here again with a big family due to having to bring everything. If you’re looking for a simple place to stay, this is it.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The home is tastefully decorated with the perfect amount of decor to not feel over croweded. Very spacious. We had 3 families coming together under 1 roof and we never felt on top of each other. The host was amazing. On top of all my questions and even provided items he did not have ahead of time so we did not have to pack extra. Top notch customer service. The long driveway was the perfect touch for the kids to ride their scooters while the baby got a nap in. Highly recommend and would definitely book again. 10/10.

We stayed 3 houses away and loved it but this house had the best floor plan, high end finishes and decor! Hopefully we’ll be back.

I’ve stayed in Pointe West four times and this house was perfect fit for our family and grandchildren. I loved the location; its nature, beautiful sunsets, and never-ending bay breeze on the front and back porches. The house is spacious, comfy, and beautifully decorated. The homeowner is very responsive with any questions you may have and is genuinely concerned with ensuring your stay is just as you hoped. I would definitely stay here again!
