Relax in the private hot tub, relax or fish on the private pier, or play some ping pong downstairs. With a fabulous propane grill and well appointed kitchen, you can have your own private getaway. There is a boat lift available to keep your boat in the water during your stay. It has easy access to the beach, with a short quick drive to the Pointe West Beach Club with a restaurant, infinity pool and hot tub. Brought to you by Best of the West, Bayview Sunset is perfect for your group or family, offering 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. There are two bedrooms with king beds and ensuite bathrooms. Two bunkrooms provide ample space with one appointed with two twin over twin bunk beds and the other with two twin over full bunk beds. The fifth bedroom contains a queen bed with a twin trundle bed. The balconies provide fantastic viewing of the sunrise, sunset, and a front row view of the bay. Watch the birds (Roseate Spoonbills, Cormorants, Herons, Egrets, and more), sit back and relax, or just enjoy the silence. Take advantage of the wonderful outdoor space under the home with seating and an outdoor shower so you can clean up from a long day at the beach or fishing. Grill provided for cooking out, while enjoying time with family and friends. Are you bringing small children? This house is complete with children’s dishware and a pack and play. This is a pet friendly unit. You may bring up to 2 dogs. There is a $250 pet cleaning fee . When you stay in a Best of the West home, all you need to bring is your clothes, toiletries, sunscreen, food, and you! Best of the West provides basic consumables needed for your entire stay; paper towels, toilet paper, large & small trash bags, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, hand soap, coffee, creamer, sweetener, coffee filters, and a first aid kit. We can also help you arrange golf carts, beach rentals, and guided fishing trips.

The Neighborhood:
Pointe West is an exclusive resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island. The beaches are clean and groomed regularly and they are by far the best on the island. The main clubhouse has a beautiful infinity-edge pool, hot tub, kid’s pool, cabanas, grills, gift shop, workout facility with lockers, and a game room. There is a restaraunt and bar onsite.

Getting Around:
Bayview Sunset is located at the westernmost end of Galveston Island. What's nearby? -The West End Marina and Restaurant, a waterfront seafood house, is only 8 miles away where you can enjoy a wonderful meal or drink overlooking Galveston Bay. -Seven Seas Grocery is 10 miles away to pick up groceries, including a full meat market, along with wine, beer, and ice. -Nate's Westend Seafood and Steaks (a local favorite) is located next door to Seven Seas Grocery. -The Galveston Island State Park is only 10.5 miles. Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn Waterpark are 20 miles away. 22 miles to The Historic Pleasure Pier amusement park. Downtown Strand is only 23.5 miles away, where you'll find great shopping, dining, and nightlife. Only 19.5 miles to the 61st Street fishing pier.

Up to 2 dogs (total weight 100 lbs) are allowed. A $250 pet fee will be charged.
Upon registration at the Pointe West Beach Club, a $25 pool access fee will be charged to all guests over age 3 for the use of the pools and amenities and is good for your entire stay. The beach, restaurant, and bar are all free to use.
