"The Blue Pete" - a beautiful luxury home located in the exclusive custom home section of the private and serene Pointe West Community. This beachfront, vacation home is ready for making memories and is THE closest front row beach home to the Pointe West Beach Club allowing you to be pool or beachside within minutes.
Offering over 3500 sq. feet of living space, with 5 bedrooms & 3.5 bath. The main living area offers a open floor plan that connects the living, dining, & kitchen together. Soak in the direct gulf views from the living area or walk out onto the spacious balcony overlooking the gulf. There is a huge downstairs shaded entertainment space with built in bar. Perfect for hosting, grilling, playing cornhole or watching the kids enjoy the outdoor yard space. Post your vacation fun on social media with high-speed internet or relax on the sofa and enjoy a movie. In the cooler months, relax with a glass of wine or a best seller by the fireplace. Hungry? Get ready to be the family chef in the fully stocked gourmet kitchen. Dine indoors or al fresco!
Accommodating 15 guests with a king bed in the En-suite master, a queen bed in guest rooms 2, 3 & 4 and the 5th bedroom offers fun bunks for the kids, (1 set is a twin over a full, the other a twin over twin). All bedrooms have a smart TV except the bunk room. In addition, there is a Flex room offering a full-size futon bed & a queen air mattress.
Pointe West is a privately owned resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island. You will have exclusive access to our beach, by far the best on the island! You are approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston attractions.
Pointe West Beach Club Access (Optional)
The Pointe West Beach Club is a privately owned facility offering resort-style amenities for guests who choose to purchase access. The resort fee is $25 per person (ages 4+) per stay, with a limit of three amenity bands per bedroom.
Amenities include:
* Beach Club pool and seasonally heated Bayside pool with lazy river
* Hot tubs
* Basketball and pickleball courts
* Modest game/exercise room
Access process:
* The Beach Club will send an invoice directly to you.
* After payment, wristbands can be picked up at the Beach Club Office (open daily, 9 AM–5 PM).
* The resort fee is nonrefundable; purchasing closer to your arrival is recommended.
Important information:
We manage the rental home only and do not oversee the Beach Club, its amenities, restaurant, pools, beach access, or elevators. Refunds or cancellations are not provided for closures or operational issues.
* Check in: 4 PM
* Check out: 10 AM
* Guests may enjoy the beach and Beach Club amenities before check-in and after check-out with wristband purchase.
* Condos are accessible by stairs and have one elevator per building. If the elevator experiences an outage, you will be required to take the stairs. Elevators should not be relied upon for guests with disabilities or other limitations.
* Minimum age requirement: 26+
* No prom, graduation, or high school groups, even with chaperones.
CANCELLATION/CHANGE POLICY:
* 31+ Days Before Arrival — You may change your dates (but the price might change), or you may cancel for a full refund minus a $100 fee and any travel‑insurance premium you bought.
* 30 Days or Less — No refunds and no date changes, no matter the reason — including weather or unexpected events.
Travel Insurance — Offered at booking. Helps protect you from losses due to unexpected events. Important because hurricane season is June–November.

What a great house in a great location. We were maybe 100 steps away from the boardwalk that lead to the beach and about 400 steps away from the entrance to the Resort Pool. Super convenient. And the rental had everything we needed to enjoy the beach...boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, beach towels and 2 wagons to carry everything. The layout of the house was great, lots of space for us 8 adults, 3 kids (11,9,8) and one dog to spread out. Kitchen had every appliance we needed to cook (loved the air fryer). They even provided skewers for roasting marshmallows at the fire pit (we used the pit that was at the lazy river pool on the bay side-I definitely recommend buying the resort bands, especially if you are staying for more than 4 days- well worth the price of 25 per person/per stay). The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Felt safe. Beach wasn't crowded. Not a lot of shells to find (thank goodness I packed a couple handful from home-I planted them on the beach in the morning before the kids went out) We really had a great time. I certainly would rent this house again

This was a beautiful, well-equipped home in an excellent location. It was so easy to get to the beach. We enjoyed peaceful sunsets on the beach and some of us got up to watch the sunrise on the back patio. Lots of room for a large group. We hope to come back again!
