About this house rental
It features 4 bedrooms equipped with double beds; the two largest bedrooms also have single beds. There are 3 full bathrooms, one of which is en suite and features a large whirlpool tub.
The living room is spacious, bright, and features a fireplace for enjoying natural warmth.
The kitchen is located on the first floor alongside the dining room, separated by a counter. It is fully equipped with a refrigerator, washing machine, glass-ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and small appliances, as well as all kinds of cookware, glassware, and silverware.
In the cellar, we have a fireplace equipped with a griddle for preparing delicious meals and a large table that conceals a pool table to round out the experience.
The village has a bakery that makes its own bread and pastries and a small general store with a little bit of everything, including some meat and excellent local chorizo. Next to the house is a small but cozy playground, and from there, there’s a perfect walk to Soto de Arriba along the San Medel stream, which winds past the village’s natural springs—Los Caños, Los Pájaros, and El Moro—on a pleasant stroll accompanied by the song of the birds that nest in the area.
Segovia—no words can do it justice—is a wonderful place to stroll, hang out in its great bars (tapas included), and, of course, enjoy the local cuisine, featuring its iconic suckling pig and roast lamb, washed down with Ribera del Duero and Verdejo wines from the province.
It also boasts must-see destinations such as La Granja de San Ildefonso with its palace, fountains, and the Guadarrama National Park 12 km away; Pedraza, 35 km away; Sepúlveda and the Hoces del Duratón Natural Park, 50 km away, as well as the castle route (Pedraza, Coca, Cuéllar, Turégano, and Castilnovo)—all easily accessible.
Amenities at La Casa de Bernuy, an oasis of tranquility.
