Located on the foothills of Golfe-Juan between Cannes and Antibes, minutes from the center of the village and the beach, Villa la Pokade was built and designed in the finest French Riviera tradition starting with its facade crafted of local sienna stucco and its red tile roof. The beautifully landscaped grounds feature a terraced garden with a variety of tropical flowers and plants including palm, almond and olive trees, cactus, lavender and many other flowering shrubs and plants. Down a flight of stairs below the entrance is a large infinity pool surrounded by a stone terrace as well as other open and covered terraces with ample outdoor lounging and dining furniture. Wherever you decide to relax, you'll enjoy beautiful and peaceful views of the garden. This four bedrooms property boasts all modern comforts and conveniences including ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioned rooms, high-speed Internet access, cable television, DVD player and music system. Surroundings: The bay of Golfe-Juan, nestled between the Cap of Antibes and the Îles de Lérins in front of Cannes, is well protected from the winds. A wide range of golf courses and seaside activities is on offer, from walking or lazing about on the sandy beaches, to visiting old harbors and medieval ramparts and many museums or other cultural activities. Here you'll find a full range of shops, services, cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and weekly open-air markets and antiquities shops. And within easy driving distance in a 3 miles radius are the larger towns of Juan les Pins, Antibes and Cannes. Other delightful French Riviera towns and villages, such as Mougins, Biot or Saint Paul de Vence are also easy ½ day trips.
