Welcome to Mountain Dreams, a spacious, recently updated log cabin tucked into the wooded hills of Sevierville, Tennessee.
A REAL SMOKY MOUNTAIN CABIN. Not Just a House with Bear Decorations.
If you're looking for a cookie-cutter vacation rental, squeezed between neighboring properties with barely enough room to park, Mountain Dreams might surprise you.
This is the real Smoky Mountain cabin experience. We're tucked into the woods, backing up to a nature preserve, where wildlife is part of the neighborhood and nature doesn't stop at the property line. You might spot a black bear wandering through, deer passing by, or hear the sounds of the forest from your deck.
And yes, mountain living comes with a few realities. During the warmer, humid months, spiders can spin new webs seemingly overnight, leaves find their way onto the decks, and the occasional woodland visitor may make an appearance. We work hard to keep the cabin clean, comfortable, and welcoming, but we also embrace the natural surroundings that make this property special. This isn't a suburban home dressed up to look like a cabin. It's an authentic log cabin in the Tennessee mountains, with the privacy, character, wildlife, and occasional quirks that come with the real thing. That's exactly why we love it, and we hope you will too. Many of our guests come year after year to enjoy nothing else but just getting away. Hop out of the car and relax on the deck. Fall asleep in a rocking chair. Play in the back woods. Make a fire. Enjoy comforts of home (like wifi and air-conditioning) but feel like you're truly staying in the mountains.
Whether you're planning a family vacation, a getaway with friends, or a trip to explore the Great Smoky Mountains, Mountain Dreams offers the perfect balance of mountain privacy, modern comforts, and entertainment for the entire group.
With four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and accommodations for up to 14 guests, there's plenty of room to gather together and space to spread out.

One of the things that makes Mountain Dreams special is its setting.
The property backs up to protected natural surroundings, with no homes directly behind the cabin and no visible neighbors on one side.
Start your morning with coffee on the deck, surrounded by trees and fresh mountain air. Spend the afternoon exploring the Smokies, then come home to relax in your private hot tub or gather around the fire pit.
The cabin features two outdoor deck areas, including an expansive upper deck with comfortable seating and space to enjoy the wooded surroundings. The decks have recently been re-stained and new railings (October 2026)
Mountain views are most visible during the cooler months, while summer brings a lush, green forest setting.

Rainy afternoon? Relaxing evening? No problem.
Mountain Dreams gives everyone something to enjoy without leaving the property.
Enjoy the video game console, stream your favorite shows, or spend a quiet evening relaxing by the fireplace.
With multiple gathering areas, the cabin makes it easy for adults to unwind while the kids enjoy their own space.
FOUR BEDROOMS ACROSS THREE LEVELS
Mountain Dreams is designed to accommodate families and groups comfortably.
The main level features a king bedroom and full bathroom, with only three steps from the parking area to the front porch.
Upstairs, you'll find a queen bedroom and our newest addition, The Loft at Mountain Dreams.
This distinctive converted loft features beautiful windows, custom woodwork, and a private-cabin-within-a-cabin atmosphere. It's one of our favorite spaces in the house.
The lower level offers another bedroom, a full bathroom, and an additional family room with bunk beds, giving younger guests a place to call their own.

We've invested in updating Mountain Dreams while preserving the warm, rustic atmosphere that makes a Smoky Mountain cabin vacation special.
Recent improvements include updated mattresses, smart TVs, new air conditioning equipment, refreshed kitchen essentials, a new grill, newly asphalted driveway, and much more.
The kitchen offers space for preparing family meals, while high-speed internet and modern entertainment options help make longer stays convenient.

Hot tub was full but the water had an odor. The rooms had dead bugs in them, main floor was sticky and there was some trash outside. The firepit area was less than impressive. However, that being said the layout worked great for us. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed to cook our meals. We appreciated the room we had to park our to vehicles.
