The room has a smell to it. It needs a deep clean. The bed no support. Smallest tv I’ve ever had in a room!

it really wasn't worth the money.

when we had issues in the first two days, the maintenance crew were very prompt to respond. when I could'nt find a whisk or mixer, they went and bought one for me to use. above and beyond their job.

the tubs should be clean with no hair in them. there should have been more storage for groceries. the pillows were hard and uncomfortable. the tubs had to be cleaned before we would get in them. there was hair in them. the kitchen was really unworkable mainly because there was NO counter or room for prep work.

Location was decent. Room set up was good

There was a stain on the ceiling from a leak in the room above. It was very unsightly. There was black hair on the sheets and in the bathtub ( I guess from the maid). This needs to be addressed. We were told there was a Keurig in the room and there was not.

Location was good, loved the stairs down to the street for the walk to the strip. Check in and out was easy. Very clean and comfortable. The balcony was really nice. Beds were comfortable. Well equipped kitchen for our needs.

Family mini vacation

The condo was clean and well taken care of. The balcony was a plus. Location was walking distance to downtown. The pool was quite nice. Watching the bears was also fun to see.

Booking.com made mistake for the Laurel Inn 4001 booked. I couldn't stay this hotel.

my recent booking made through Booking.com at Laurel Inn, room 401, under confirmation number 6885728515. My stay was scheduled from July 11 to July 13, 2025, for two guests. Before making the reservation, I selected room 401 specifically because the listing—both in photos and descriptions—indicated the presence of a Jacuzzi bath, which justified the higher price compared to rooms with standard bathtubs. This amenity was important for my travel experience, and it influenced my decision to choose that property and pay the premium rate. Upon arrival, I faced several issues: The access code provided by Booking.com did not work, leaving me locked out of the room. I was informed that room 401 had been booked under someone else’s name, and my booking information was not found in their system. The Laurel Inn representative then directed me to Olde Gatlinburg Rentals, where I was told: Laurel Inn does not offer rooms with Jacuzzi baths. My booking had not been properly registered.

I do not have much positive to share, as the number of issues I encountered during my stay significantly outweighed the aspects I liked. Perhaps the location was the one redeeming quality.

I booked this apartment for a family trip to the Smoky Mountains and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations especially given the premium price I paid, likely due to last minute booking. The apartment was referred to me by a colleague, so I had high hopes. However, I was not provided with any details about the floor plan beforehand. Upon arrival, I noticed that the unit was located at the end of the floor, with a large pile of garbage situated right outside our window. This trash remained there throughout our stay, attracting flies and creating an unpleasant environment. Inside the apartment, the condition of the amenities was disappointing. The kitchenette came with two burners one was non-functional and the other worked only intermittently. The TV remote in the living room did not work, which made it impossible to change channels. The cookware and utensils provided did not appear to be clean, and I was uncomfortable using them due to hygiene concerns. Additionally, the wall above the sofa showed visible water marks and paint damage, which detracted from the overall appearance and made the space feel neglected. Given the high cost and the range of issues we encountered, I did not feel the apartment provided good value for money. I will likely explore other options in the future. I hope the owner takes this feedback constructively and makes improvements to ensure a better experience for future guests.

Best view, best location and best value for money if u wanna spot bear

Location is the best part! The easy accessibility to downtown and the best view u can get from bottom is the plus point. We have been here 2 times and both times minimum 2-3 bears have visited the property roaming into parking area and passing by

The bathrooms are slightly small, and commode was wobbly. Towels though clean were old and may be refreshing them would be gr8. Sofa and carpet of steam cleaned will make the cleanliness level go above average

The Condo didn't feel clean to us, their was hair in the tub and under the comforter! So that really turned us off so I really can't rate it on anything else because of that. The statff wasn't there because it was the weekend so we never spoke to them so can't rate the staff. The livingroom TV didn't work. We reset it but still couldn't get pass the 1st screen, the button it said to push we never saw it on the remote.

Decor and kitchen was nice. Very quiet but close to main strip. We liked having a home like atmosphere as opposed to a couple beds you get in a hotel room.

The pillows were very uncomfortable and much too flat. Need new ones. The shower knob was confusing in how to use. The light switch in the bathroom also had an extra part next to it we had never seen before and we had to call maintenance when we accidentally turned off all the light in the bathroom due to its design. Explanations and instructions on shower head and warning of light switch in the bathroom would have been appreciated.

Location was kind of close to everything but the walk back to the room uphill was rough.

If the Laurel Inn is now trying to run their business without people, I'll go elsewhere.

The accommodations were nice. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. It took a while to figure out how to use the TV and the cable box, but I managed.

I never received any communications about how to unlock the room. I got a message from the property about needing my email address. Earlier in the week I called the property, which I was asked to do, and left my email on the voicemail, since no one answered the phone. When I arrived at the hotel, there was no one in the office, and there was no one there for my entire stay. I happened to remember that during a visit a year or two ago, the lock code was the same as the last 4 numbers of my own phone number. I thought that was odd then, but I tried the last 4 of my cellphone this time and it opened the door. There was no information in the room about how to use the internet, or how to use the laundry facilities. There was no parking pass. I have stayed at the Laurel Inn many times, but this was the worst experience I have had there.
