Apple Bear Lodge

The cabin was beautiful. I loved that every bedroom had a jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. Rooms were spacious. Kitchen and dining area were great for our group.

The drive way. I saw that it had bad reviews on the drive way....but I just assumed it was from people not used to driving in the mountains!!!! But boy was i wrong......this drive way is no joke. You definitely need 4wd....my rav 4 suv barely made it up. It made us not want to leave the cabin to do anything. Please beware during the winter....

It was spacious and clean.

The drive way was Extremely steep, the mattress on the bed were sunken, and the house creaked all night.

Everything, Wildlife everywhere. Secluded at the same time very close to down town Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

No breakfast. Driveway was very steep. One of our sons couldnt get up it. Had to transfer all their stuff and them back and forth.

Our basketball team loved the game room and general amenities. Plenty of space for the 17 of us. Nice choice of rooms. Teenage boys loved the hot tub. Jacuzzis were nice.

Hot water didn’t last. That steep driveway seemed scary, but we were safe.

Location was great! Cabin was very nice and view was good.

Downstairs air did not stay cool enough. Kitchen could be better equipped for cooking breakfast. No cookie sheet for biscuits or large skillet to cook anything. We had bought breakfast items before we got to the cabin because we couldn't check in till 4 and then did not have anything to cook it in.

Pictures are deceiving. Hot tub picture angle is purposefully angled to seem way larger than it actually is. There is no swans made from the towels, there's no air hockey table. Billiards and Foosball tables have seen better days. The price jumps when you go to rent and you're told no surprises. Um, too late, that was a surprise and then they tack on more fees without telling you after you book and after the supposed no surprise price. Then you have to sign a contract that takes away all your rights and puts everything in their favor with no recourse if they don't have the cabin or decide to rent to someone else or they don't give you the code to enter the premises. DO NOT BOOK!!!
