About this cottage rental
This is for the guest apartment only located adjacent to the main house. The property sits on 3 acres off of a gravel road. There is a 750 sq ft gym. Lake Allatoona is about 1 to 2 min away. Red Top Mountain is about 5 minutes away. The Lakepoint sports complex is located about 15 min away. This property is strictly for lodging purposes only. No partying, large gatherings or heavy traffic allowed. These rules will be strictly enforced by guest being removed from the property. No exceptions.

This is a great place to stay for a quick baseball trip. Met all of our needs. Was quiet and secluded. Most importantly it was close to Lakepoint. About a 15 minute drive but worth it.

It was a short stop on our way home. Didn't use the kitchen, but everything you would need was there. Not use to the steps as in Florida, there aren't many. Pretty good work out! LOL Very clean, and comfortable.

Overall, a good deal for the price. Space is larger than expected. And kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals.Cleanliness leaves a bit to be desired. Bed and bath linens were clean, so that's a plus. We wiped down all kitchen surfaces, since there were some remains from previous guests. At that point, we ended up pretty much wiping down all surfaces. We weren't sure it was just a quick cleaning job between visitors, or the unit had sat a while. Things like windowsills and other corner areas needed more attention. Let's just say you can tell this a dog friendly property.The bed, while comfortable, was noisy. It's in a quiet, wooded area, off the beaten path -- which is nice. For the price, it's hard to complain.
