About this house rental
Welcome to Lake Murray Lookout. The lookout is a fisherman's dream! This home offers expansive views of the lake, in a peaceful, quiet setting. Enjoy being close to all of what Lake Murray has to offer, or stay and take advantage of the back yard oasis. The back yard is where you will want to be for most of your stay, whether it's fishing straight from the double slip dock, then taking advantage of the outdoor fish cleaning station, kicking back on a kayak or paddle board, or roasting marshmallows from the stone fire pit over looking the lake, you can't go wrong. We have everything you need for the perfect little getaway on Lake Murray!
The Space:
This home features an incredible backyard oasis with multiple levels of deck to stretch out and an expansive covered dock (one of the only ones on the lake). The inside of the home was recently renovated with new floors, new paint, arcade machines, and more! You will fall in love with this home and make it a family tradition!
When you walk into the home you'll be greeted by an open kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has everything needed for someone who loves to cook, or who just wants to re-heat pizza. The kitchen comes with two different type of coffee makers, a toaster, a full oven with burners, refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The bar has seating for four and the dining table has seating for six. Just beyond the kitchen is the laundry facility which has both a washer and a dryer.
Master Bedroom - The master bedroom has a King bed and it's own private bathroom with a shower. The closet is large and has plenty of space for you to store your clothes for a long stay, or just use during your trip for a little extra storage. The master bedroom also has a dresser for storing bathing suits, towels, etc.
Second Bedroom - The second bedroom has two bunk beds (four twin beds in all) and has a wonderful view overlooking the lake. This room has a closet with plenty of room to store clothes and other items.
Third Bedroom - This bedroom has a full sized bed, a large dresser and a closet perfect for storage. This room is facing the front of the home but given the home is sitting on a point you can see the lake from this bedroom.
The Sunroom - The home boasts a large sunroom with incredible views of the lake. This is the perfect hang out spot for adults in the evening or a great place to lay low with the entire family for a movie night. The sun rooms is wall to wall windows and has plenty of seating for families of all sizes.

We had a fantastic stay! The house and property were beautiful. The view and the fire pit were fabulous. We were close to everything we wanted by boat. Great restaurants and stores within minutes. We plan to book the property again next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We loved our stay at Lookout Point. Rented a double decker pontoon with a slide and were able to pull right up to our dock. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces tremendously, watching the birds, turtles, and fishing off the dock. Entire family appreciated the provided games and water craft,

The stay here at the house was wonderful it has a beautiful view of the lake.I brought my boat and tied it up at the dock.The launch was right down the road not far.The house had everything you would need I would definitely recommend staying here.

I would like to start out on a positive note. This lake house was once a beautiful home. The layout and the views are ideal. I’ve never written a bad review prior to today. The interior appeared clean with newer finishings. Minus a little mold in the master bath. The exterior was full of leaves and cobwebs. I cleaned it up on my arrival. And hours later a lawn maintenance crew member came and blew what leaves I missed into the huge pile of leaves along the side of the house. There is a six hour window in between bookings so that guests are not disturbed by this. But the schedule must have been off that day. This practice of not clearing the leaves appeared to be the norm given the amount of debri along the one side of the house. The night we came home from a wedding reception 2 cockroaches were on the counter. And three more were found that night. My family lives in this area and told me it could have been avoided if properly maintained. I feel like people have the right to know what happened. I’m adding photos of the neglect.
