We are very close to the water - expect to see wildlife including bugs, lizards, birds, turtles, raccoons, squirrels, and the occasional deer. Regular pest treatments are done both inside and out but it is very easy for pests to slip into the house if doors or windows are left open.
The maximum occupancy that is shown in the listing includes any and all visitors that will be at the home. Over-occupancy or unauthorized events will result in IMMEDIATE eviction without refund. Any guest who refuses to vacate when instructed will be treated as a trespasser.
No parties, events, or gatherings over the listed occupancy are allowed under any circumstances. Bookings made under false pretenses will be denied access with no refund.
You must be 25 years of age or older in order to book one of our homes.
While we ask a series of screening questions to all guests, local guests are subject to additional screening steps, including a phone call. We reserve the right to cancel any guest reservations at our discretion.
Quiet hours are from 10PM until 8AM every day of the week. We have zero tolerance for noise complaints and multiple violations will result in immediate eviction without refund.
No smoking or vaping inside of the home under any circumstances. You will incur an additional fee of $500 if you smoke within the home + the cost of any damages. If you smoke outdoors you must dispose of any debris safely, do not discard anything in the yard or patio.
No illegal substances or activities on the premises.
Pets must be approved in advance. We charge a pet fee for up to 2 pets at all of our pet friendly locations. If there is evidence of any undisclosed pets in the home (pet friendly or non-pet friendly), you will be charged for cleaning + any additional damages.
If the property is left in an unusually dirty condition that requires deep cleaning beyond our standard turnover, an additional fee will be charged to cover the extra housekeeping costs.
Early check in and late check out for up to 2 hours is available per calendar availability, at an additional cost. This must be requested through your boarding pass, and we will approve / decline after reviewing our cleaning schedule.
Do not tamper with smoke detectors, security devices, or Wi-Fi equipment.
If personal items are left behind a fee of $25 + shipping costs will be charged back to you.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very clean, peaceful, serene, and had a great view of the lake. We will definitely utilize the facility again.

4 stars for a number of maintenance items that needed to be taken care of while we were there, broken storm door that didn’t close all the way,a faucet that needed repair in the bath tub,and a cracked step going down from the deck. We also realized during our last night that the sliding door didn’t latch so you couldn’t lock it.But they were quick to respond!!It would also be nice if they supplied some outdoor chairs to sit on at the end of the dock to watch the kids swim. There were built in benches but they were midway down the dock in an enclosed area. The set up in the house worked really well for our family and it was dog friendly. So that was great!

We were so impressed with the quality of this lake house stay. We wanted to be on the quiet side of Lake Murray and this house delivered that perfectly. It is on a quiet waterway without jetskis and motorboats roaring by all day, but with a great dock that is perfect for lounging, swimming, and accessible to a pontoon boat. The property gets the morning sunrise and stunning evening light and sunsets. The house itself was very well-stocked with kitchen gear, comfortable and plentiful furniture that fit the space well, and a huge kitchen with nice appliances and a large countertop perfect for the family to all hang out at. The host was very communicative and addressed all of our needs right away. Plus, the check-in and check-out process was very simple--no long list of cleaning duties like a lot of properties these days. We loved our time here and would absolutely stay here again!
