Beautiful view.
There was nothing we didn’t like. Maybe put a small TV in the bedrooms?

We absolutely loved that this was a one-story home and so close to the shore—not set far back like many others. The limited water traffic made it incredibly quiet and peaceful, especially during float time.
One of our favorite features was the concrete walkway from the beautiful deck to the dock, fully lit the entire way. It was such a nice bonus not having to walk through grass.
We also loved being able to bring Bella, our 5-pound Morkie. It was fantabolous that this is a pet-friendly rental—and everything was so clean! That’s not always the case in pet-friendly homes, so we really appreciated the care that’s clearly put into keeping this place fresh and welcoming for everyone—furry friends included.
Ahhh, having two rolling trash bins was perfect! It made cleanup super easy and kept everything tidy without the hassle.
And the water pressure? Truly amazing! The only thing we would have liked is if the tubs were still set up to allow water to flow from the faucet for a bath—but that’s a small detail in an otherwise wonderful stay.
Let me also say—there wasn’t anything we just flat-out didn’t like. Just a few things we noticed that might help future guests or the owners:
While I understand that motion-sensor floodlights on the back deck are great for a rental, it made it tricky to keep lighting consistent while sitting at the table in the evening.
We always travel with a fan, and we found that the vertical blinds on the sliding door tend to knock against it constantly when the fan is on. Not sure if others have run into this, but it made us wonder if another window treatment might work better.
Also, we noticed one of the barrels under the dock had shifted, causing that corner of the dock to sit unevenly. It might be worth checking on that before it causes damage.
Lastly, we did notice little black ants on the patio pad, around the grill (even before we used it), and down at the dock. A few even made their way into the boat and our truck—no idea what they were after in there, but they were persistent!
