This home is located about an hour away from Downtown Columbia!
We are very close to the water - expect to see wildlife including bugs, lizards, birds, turtles, raccoons, squirrels, and the occasional deer. Regular pest treatments are done both inside and out but it is very easy for pests to slip into the house if doors or windows are left open.
You will receive a “boarding pass” upon confirmation with guidebooks, property specific details, check in / parking instructions and more! You can share this link with anyone in your party for access to the details!
Please note that if your stay is longer than 3 weeks, you will be required to pay an additional cleaning fee. This will be sent through a money request.
Please note that the fireplace and garage are not for guest use.
The maximum occupancy that is shown in the listing includes any and all visitors that will be at the home. Over-occupancy or unauthorized events will result in IMMEDIATE eviction without a refund. Any guest who refuses to vacate when instructed will be treated as a trespasser.
No parties, events, or gatherings over the listed occupancy are allowed under any circumstances. Bookings made under false pretenses will be denied access with no refund.
You must be 25 years of age or older to book one of our homes.
While we ask a series of screening questions to all guests, local guests are subject to additional screening steps, including a phone call. We reserve the right to cancel any guest reservations at our discretion.
Quiet hours are from 10PM until 8AM every day of the week. We have zero tolerance for noise complaints and multiple violations will result in immediate eviction without a refund.
No smoking or vaping inside of the home under any circumstances. You will incur an additional fee of $500 if you smoke within the home + the cost of any damages. If you smoke outdoors you must dispose of any debris safely, do not discard anything in the yard or patio.
No illegal substances or activities on the premises.
A starter amenity package is provided for each reservation. These items are intended as a complimentary starter supply only and may not be replenished during the stay.
Pets must be approved in advance. We charge a pet fee for up to 2 pets at all our pet friendly locations. If there is evidence of any undisclosed pets in the home (pet friendly or non-pet friendly), you will be charged for cleaning + any additional damages.
For stays longer than 21 days, we charge an additional cleaning fee. If the house is left in a state that requires additional cleaning, we will charge a fee that covers the additional expense.
Early check-in and late check out for up to 2 hours is available per calendar availability, at an additional cost. This must be requested through your boarding pass, and we will approve / decline after reviewing our cleaning schedule.
Do not tamper with smoke detectors, security devices, or Wi-Fi equipment.
If personal items are left behind a fee of $25 + shipping costs will be charged back to you.

Our family loved the house and property! The space was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well equipped and beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

It was absolutely beautiful! The view was amazing and we are so glad we chose this property! It was a quiet neighborhood and simply 1 of the best vacations we have taken in years! We would definitely recommend this property to anyone and if given the chance, come back ourselves!

The house itself is very clean. If your group is more than 8 people, bring additional seating for the living room bc there isn’t enough seating for how many the house sleeps. If you are planning to go in the winter when it’s cooler in the SC midlands you would be fine, otherwise the outside of the property is not as advertised and is disappointing for enjoying lake life. The listing, as of January thru early July 2026, states that it is a deep water dock but it is not. It is roughly 4 feet deep across the entire front and outwards of ten feet from the dock and consistently shallow to the right of the dock. Given that the water is shallow and the lake is in the Midlands, the hottest part of SC, the water is not great for playing in and is very, very warm. Our family is from SC and we love our state so this isn’t a knock on SC. Every other year we’ve gone to Lake Hartwell, which is definitely not a pristine lake, but this part of Lake Murray made Hartwell water feel like beautiful Lake Keowee. The outside areas need maintenance as the ceiling fans were rickety or didn’t work. The maintenance team was helpful and Heartwood Management Team were courteous and prompt with issues. We would not recommend this house for a family who loves playing in the lake, or relaxing on a dock. There was an ant issue and they crashed our party every time we tried to sit at the dock. Maintenance came and sprayed midweek. This house is located in a very quiet cove and there is little boat traffic.
