Holiday Prato Verde, is situated in Chiatri Puccini, a small town on the hills surrounding Lucca , in Tuscany.
Our family manage the restaurant Prato Verde for over fifty years and in 2000 we have realized a summer residence to offer an holiday characterized by cordiality and hospitality that always has distinguished us.
We give the maximum attention to the guest's needs without ignoring their comfort.
The special position offers a spectacular and unique view: northeasterly there are the Appennines, in the south east there are Pisa and Livorno, in the west the Massaciuccoli Lake , the Viareggio coast and Forte Dei Marmi.
You can admire this panoramic view lying down comfortably on the swimming pool edge or when you are on the flat's terraces that are surrounded by olives and woods to have a fresh and windy climate also in the summer.
Holiday Prato Verde is situated in a peaceful oasis but in a few minutes you can reach some famous seaside resorts (Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore, Torre del Lago, Forte dei Marmi and Lerici).

The apartment Girasole is composed a double bed, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kicthen with sofa bed. Upstairs with independent entrance there is a double bedroom Gardenia. It is composed two single beds, bathroom with shower and two big terrace when you can relax looking a wonderful view
The apartment Girasike has a gazebo, terrace, garden, satellite TV, WI FI, private parking, barbecue and laundromat. It is located a 15 minutes drive from Lucca and Viareggio.
Guests have the possibility to use the swimming pool provided with a sterilization system by salt ( without the use of chlorine) and a large solarium.
It also offers spaces for children's games and a large park surrounding the property that creates a serenity oasis giving the possibility to go for a walk in the nature.
An ideal place for families holidays where they can find open and safe places for their children.
You can also reach in a few minutes the city of Lucca where it's possible to observe Roman, Medieval and Renaissance testimonies.
Not too far there are cities of historical, cultural and tourist's interest (Pisa, Viareggio, Pietrasanta, Forte dei Marmi, Barga, Castelnuovo Garfagnana, Florence, Siena and San Gimignano).

We loved our week in Tuscany, where we stayed with our two sons in the Girasole and Gardenia apartments. The view, the green surroundings and the pool were nothing short of perfect. However, we were sad that the owner demanded 123 euros, in addition to the amount paid through VRBO. She sent us the message by mail 15 days before the holiday so we could not manage to find another place to rent. We thought we had paid the full amount as stated by VRBO. We have rented holiday homes several times before through VRBO, but have never experienced having to pay extra before. The owner wrote that we should pay her fee to VRBO in addition to tourist taxes. We would recommend that the rent is regulated before booking is done, so tenants avoid unpleasant surprises and know the real price. Otherwise as said; a beautiful place, we would gladly have stayed longer and we already miss it.

This was a beautiful apartment in a lovely setting. The apartment was modern, spacious, well equipped and had wonderful views. We really enjoyed eating on the terrace outside the apartment. Prato Verde restaurant was excellent. It was great having it so close but also that you could order food from there to take back to the apartment. The family were friendly and welcoming and my daughter and I enjoyed a happy morning in the kitchen at the restaurant learning to cook delicious Tuscan food. The pool was clean, well kept and much enjoyed by our daughter. We had a very relaxing week and enjoyed staying here enormously. Lucca is just a short drive from here but generally the apartment is well away from the hustle and bustle of the sightseeing crowds. A car is essential and a confident driver to tackle the winding hill road to reach this lovely place.

We have had a very nice stay at the Geranio. We were two Adults and two grown children and a good well educated dog, which is ofthe same rass like the dog of Mara (border collie). We enjoyed very much the dinners at the restaurant and as well the nice landscape arround the restaurant and the two houses with the appartements. We would recommend to do a walk to the villages naer by on the hills to the place of the churche. As well we stayed at the beach MARINA DI VECCHIANO. So enjoy yout holidays there and best whiches.

We had a great stay in the house of Mara Angeli and her familly. To bad the weather was not so great to spend some time also around the house, using the pool. The house in the middle of nature, upon the hill with view over the olive trees, surrounded by so much beauty, gave us a true feeling of relaxation, vacation. Food in the house is also one of the best Italian food we have ever tasted!
The house is well equipped, the only mentionable issue are the angry mosquitos, you should take some avoiding measure for them.
We also were happy to meet the friendly dog of the house, that brought us some joy (during missing our dog at home).
Prpare for a great stay on Prato Verde!
