About this cabin rental
Whare Koa is a one bedroom cabin with a comfy Queen bed with room for a pop up single bed also if needed so can sleep up to 3 people.
FYI: This cabin is also interconnecting with Whare Tai which is handy for family bookings if you need more beds. Each cabin is a separate booking.
Communal living, shared kitchen, outdoor eating available, shared ablution block, ample parking, fresh garden with seasonal veges, spacious area, nestled in the heart of Porangahau, close to beach!!! Village shop, pub, playground, its all here waiting for you!

These are adequate basic cabins but with booking fees are expensive for this type of accommodation. It’s not clear from the advertising but the toilet and bathroom are situated elsewhere on the site, as is the kitchen. All fine but the advertisement could by clearer about what’s available and the configuration of it all.

Marvellously clean, well laid out and friendly. Good meals at the Duke and home made goodies at the dairy.

We liked our overnight stay. It was a pity we were not there longer so we could work out the quirks of the place. Putting a small table in the bathroom for your sruff would be good as well more information about check in. Very comfortable stay.
