1066 Sparrow Pond is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom beach cottage in West Beach Village Kiawah with recent updates including a new exterior deck, updated bathrooms and a fresh outdoor shower to end your day at the neighborhood swimming pool or the beach, only a short 5 minute walk away.
This elegant Kiawah Island cottage is open and spacious with a comfortable living area and flat screen TV, a large, updated kitchen with a breakfast bar and a nice wrap around deck with gas grill for guest use. This Sparrow Pond cottage rental has 3 bedrooms and comfortably accommodates up to 7 guests. The master suite has a king bed with a private bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and private bathroom and Bedroom 3 is perfect for the kids with a bunk bed with twin on top and full bed with trundle on the bottom, and a half bath. All bedrooms include TV’s and ceiling fans.
The Sparrow Pond Cottages are set in a serene setting near West Beach Village. Take a scenic stroll through the oaks and pines to Kiawah Island’s 10 miles of beautiful beaches, enjoy hours of family fun in the community pool and discover the best of Kiawah Island from this central location. West Beach Village is located nearest to Kiawah Island’s main gate and is situated around the Cougar Point Golf Course and Clubhouse. West Beach is Kiawah’s oldest neighborhood with meandering boardwalks, mature maritime forests and a charming, Lowcountry island vibe.
You’re an easy walk to the beach, a bike ride away from Freshfields Village, The Sanctuary Hotel, Night Heron Park and Kiawah Island’s world-class golf courses and tennis, and a short 40-minute drive to historic downtown Charleston.
Pool Access: Guests have access to the Duneside/Sparrow Pond Community Pool only (Apr-Oct). Please note this property has NO resort pool access.
Beach Access: Beach access is via Boardwalk 1.
Pet Policy: This property does not allow pets.
Parking: There is parking for up to 3 cars.
Check-in instructions will be sent via email at least 10 days prior to check-in once the Rental Agreement is signed. If your stay is within 9 days, or lesser, from the time of booking, the instructions will be sent via email as soon as the Rental Agreement is signed.

We had an awesome time with the kids. Very close to the pool and the bike trails were great. Short drive to the beach. Great place and quiet location Would definitely stay here again.

Nice clean property , close to beach. Little disappointed in the pool (smaller and for the price was hoping for access to one of the bigger Kiawah pools) but overall a nice experience.

We had a wonderful time in Kiawah at this property. The location was ideal! A 2 minute walk to the pool and 4 minutes to the beach. We rented bikes for the week (a must!) and that made it even faster. We biked with our two kids (6 and 7) to Fresh Fields for dinner, Nigh Heron Park and the Oyster Roast at Mingo Point (another must!). It was great being so centrally located. House was spacious and had plenty of room for our family and then some. Views of palm trees and Spanish moss out the windows made it feel like such a tropical location. Downside was the bathrooms were a little dated and we were disappointed the kitchen wasn't more equipped to cook. If you plan to eat meals at home, BYO EVOO, spices, foil, baggies, etc. It would have been nice to have the basics supplied. But a good spot for our family's spring break trip!

We had a lovely stay. The location of the cottage for the beach and the pool was outstanding. We had what we needed to cook and make coffee. The email I got in advance told me to bring paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap because they provide starter amounts of all of those items, and so I did but didn’t need any of them. There was plenty. We didn’t bring salt and pepper, olive oil, or any basic cooking supplies, and we did need all of those. Not really an issue, but just so others know! I’m giving a 3 star rating because the entire house needs a deep clean. There were food spots on the walls and the knobs in the kitchen were grimy. Many of the pictures on the wall were damaged. It just needs a major clean and freshen up. The table outside on the patio is broken and not usable. This is not a property I would book again.
