This is a recently renovated cottage with some very nice touches to make guests feel comfortable. The cottage was well stocked, especially the kitchen, with everything you need to make your stay easy and enjoyable. Inlet Cove is conveniently located near the beach and a wonderful pool.

Generally, I prefer to be inside the Kiawah Island Resort gated area but booked late. This property is inside a gated area off a street just prior to the Kiawah Island Resort gate. Well appointed (but no beach chairs, bikes, sun umbrella). Convenient to Freshfields Village. Parking at Beachwalker Park, at the end of the street and the nearest beach, is $15 per vehicle. It's a long walk to the beach, especially carrying beach gear. You can bike to the beach if you rent bikes. At one point our key got stuck in the front door lock, with us outside unable to get in and they sent a locksmith right away. Avoid Vayklife gear provider recommended by SkyRun rental company. Bikes were unrideable and it took three days of our week's stay to get replacements which were ridable but very uncomfortable seats (not like padded beach cruiser seats other companies use), rusted chains difficult to pedal. Skip the gear "credit" and go through a local reputable bike rental agency. There are several with better ratings, better bikes and better customer service. With Vayklife, calls go to a call center with no access to an on-site manager. Problems require a multiple day request process through a series of individuals and procedures to address. If you are going to spend any money to get bikes, save yourself the headache and lost vacation time by using another gear rental company.
