Enjoy a large private pool, multiple decks with porch swings and rockers that are ideal for outdoor entertaining, and a lovely location with easy access to the beach, golf courses, and bike trails throughout the island.

This home neighbors the Maritime Forest Reserve and Nature Trail, so you'll be just a few steps from beautiful scenery to enjoy on foot or by bike. The Cougar Point Golf Course - one of five championship golf courses on Kiawah Island - is next door as well. The beach is half a mile south, and Freshfields Village - a hot spot for dining, shopping, and entertainment - is two miles northwest. For a nice day trip, hop in the car and travel 23 miles northeast into historic downtown Charleston.

My family had a great stay at the house. Unfortunate that the pool heater wasn’t working but it didn’t stop the kids from getting in! Close short 3 min drive 7 min bike ride to boardwalk 5 with an empty parking lot, super easy to shuffle all the things down to the beach and not have to worry about parking. Short bike to Mingo Point for dolphin tours which we were lucky enough to see a group of dolphins strand some fish with our 8, 5, and 4 year old boys on the boat.

Overall I am disappointed with the house. There were three issues:
1) dishwasher issue. Imagine going on vacation for a week and having dishwasher issue
2) I paid nearly $10000 for the home for a week and cannot believe the heated pool was extra. There is some price gouging going on here.
3) ac system had trouble keeping the place cool all week.
4) not sure why but the water upstairs didn't work sporadically. I reported it and got any response.
I have requested compensation for these issues with no response.
